I’m going to laugh my ass off when the Dolphins sign Mike Wallace to a ridiculous contract in 7 hours. Seriously, that dude has FA bust written all over him.

Does the QB in Miami even have an arm big enough to throw in front of Wallace?

It isn’t like Ben has a shitty arm, and even he under threw him now and again.

I’m all for fast receivers, but you need a QB that can make the throw first off.
Wallace’s hands are not that great, doesn’t matter who throws to him.

I’m iffy on the Ed Reed signing. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Pats pick him up, but they have much bigger concerns than a center fielder right now.
Like signing someone to protect Brady?

Correct, along with

 1. #1 receiver
 2. Pass rusher
 3. Shutdown corner

I’m okay with everything else really. I would say #2 & #3 are the most important behind OL.

They would be smart to sign Talib to an extention imo. If he keeps his shit together…

I concur. I’d like to see #3 happen so defensively we can scheme to use our existing talent better to help with the need for #2.

Unless Im getting a kings ransom, I would love to see Revis stay, while his holding out makes him seem like an asshole, that aside he has been a good guy and he wants to be here in NY. While he did get injured, you may not realize how good he is…think deion sanders plus physical tackling ability, he is that good, for his position those players don’t come around to often…a truly w/o a doubt great player

Dude is made of glass though

For sure. The only way they get better without a shutdown corner is with an out-of-this world pass rush… And we know that shit isn’t coming to town. ONe position being great makes the other even better.

Ellerby is going to take Reed’s money. You know this.

I hope so, in all honesty.

As you may recall I have a love hate relaisionship with Wallace. I definetly hate him now and hope he falls off the face of the earth. He’ll be the most expensive No.2 receiver who’s
getting paid like a No.1. He’ll make some splash plays but he can’t carry a team.

If they let Keenan Lewis walk after all the time they invested in him I’ll be shocked. I can’t believe they would be that stupid. The Steelers can be cheap cocksuckers though, painfully so.

Do you think they would draft Teo if he’s still there? They need a MLB. Sean Spence is not even close to being ready from what I’ve read.

If Mendenhall gets picked up by Denver I bet you he has a terrific year. Too bad he’s such a fuckin’ basket case.
Yeah and I just hate Wallace. He’s a “me” guy and doesn’t have the skills to go with it. He’s fast, true, but he offers little after that. His speed isn’t worth the price he’s asking.

The Steelers need a #1 WR now. I would like to see them re-sign Plaxico if they can’t fill that need in the draft. WR, OLB, and CB are the biggest needs I see. It’s amazing and refreshing that we are FINALLY no longer talking OL in the top rounds. About fucking time…

I don’t think they should take an ILB in the first round. They have one standout at the position already, and Foote is solid on the other side. He’s not getting any younger, but he’s not breaking the bank either. If you’re going to have two stars on 1 position in Lebeau’s defense, you want them at OLB or CB.

I don’t care what happens to Mendenhall. I’d much rather watch Dwyer and Redman drag tacklers with them. But yes, I can see Mendenhall having success in Denver. Peyton usually has a pretty successful RB when he’s under center, so that shouldn’t be surprising to anyone.

Well waddya know?

This is absurd. $13 million a year for 5 years, $30 million guaranteed.

They’re going to be so good now.

Remember what happened when they signed Brandon marshal?

Dang.

Baltimore lost Bolding, Lewis, Ellerby, Kruger and probably will lose Ed Reed. They’re going to suck next year lol.

Good thing they made Flacco the highest paid player ever though.

Lol

I wasn’t really bothered one way or another about us signing Wallace but a good pickup today in Danell Ellerbe from the Ravens. Jared Cook would be nice too

Ah well, Cook to the Rams

Funny about Flacco telling Boldin to stick to his guns with regards to his contract, when he is probably the main reason Boldin got traded, and Boldin one of the main reasons why he got paid bookoo bucks

Definitely rooting for M Wallace to justify his payday/make the jump to legit WR1 status.

Dude clearly outperformed his rookie contract, never did get rewarded by management (while Antonio Brown did) and when its finally his time to earn, then he’s the selfish, me-first guy. Go figure.

Looks like he decided to take Dansby’s money instead

Chargers best O-lineman Vasquez signs with the Broncos. Not a good start for already a terrible O-line.
