Can you be a retard in another thread please?

My Boys won again in December. Next week will be the real test. At least we are playing at home. Really weird how the Cowboys may actually get the 2nd seed or 6th seed. Yea and the fucking refs suck, Beans you are correct getting worse every year. Call the big plays and stop fucking up the flow of the game.

Aren’t they in some sort of contract issue or something? Something to do with the refs not being full time and they are all pissed about it. (I know very little about the subject)

If that is the case, people being paid off or pissed off would explain some of the ridiculous shit I have seen. I mean 3 quarters of DBs mauling WRs all over the field, and then in the 4th, on a game changing drive they call PI with almost no contact? Fucking kidding me with some of the bullshit calls this year.

Don’t even get me started on the whole “Brady protect the QB even more” rules and the shitty enforcement of them.

I don’t know about the contract thing. They need to do it like college though, call the game on the field. If you fuck up you get a call from the booth and they tell you what to call. If you are disturbing the flow of the game or you make a game changing call. Like the Baltimore/Pitt game yesterday then you are fired, bring in new people. Enough with the bullshit. You could really throw a flag on every fucking play in the NFL. Did the foul change the play at all should be the question. A back side minimal hold or back side illegal contact, STFU.

Beer, Cheese Puffs, and Football!!

Go L.A. Rams!

OT!

So much Favre dick-riding. Good lord. I bet if he farted, the announcers would say it smells like honey dew.

Glad the stupid Vikings lost tonight and I hope the Eagles win and get the bye. Peterson and Favre cost me $400 and a fantasy championship.

Alright bumping this back to the top for the final weekend of the regular season.

First what do you guys think of NBC changing the flex game of the day? I personally think it should have been the Eagles vs. Cowboys (more on the line). As opposed to Cincy and the Jets.

You know, part of the reason they chose that game is because, throughout the course of the current TV contracts they have to move an equal number of AFC and NFC games. That way they’re taking an equal number of games away from FOX and CBS.

There’s obviously more on the line with the Eagles game, especially if Cincy lays down.

So who does everybody think will win the wildcard games this weekend. I got my money on the Cowboys, Ravens, Packers, and Bengals.

I’ll take:

Eagles over the Cowboys
Ravens over the Patriots
Packers over the Cardinals
Jets over the Bengals

Philly smokes Dallas. Trent Cole decapitates Tony Rhomo. Then Philly wins out the rest. Those are my humble predictions.

I’m no Cowboy fan, I hate them just as much as the next guy, but why do you guys think they will lose to the Eagles when they already beat them twice and just dominated them at home. If i were to bet i would put my money on Dallas.

Might have something to do with Dallas not winning a playoff game in over a decade. And the last time Dallas went to the playoffs they also faced an opponent they swept in the regular season – the Giants in 2007 – and they lost then too.

That being said, I don’t know what to make of this game. I don’t trust either coach to make a crucial in game decision. Dallas has been awful in the playoffs, but looked great this last month. Philly was on fire until this game. They had a chance to take the 2 seed and a bye, and they ended up laying an egg. If I were to bet, I would stay away from this game.

I know this may sound crazy, but I think the Eagles were playing at scrimmage speed last week by design. They already had a playoff seed. Philly has a monkey on their back about not winning a Superbowl and the Division title takes a third seat to NFC championship and Superbowl.

I think they wanted to stay healthy for the playoff game. McDermott isn’t some hack and he learned from one of the best ever. The defense was abnormally calm last week.

I’m not saying the offense shouldn’t have caught more passes and played better-- they should have won that game, but at the same time, I think they just wanted to start the playoffs with no other major losses due to injury. They just lost Jamaal Jackson (C), and DeSean Jackson looked a little gimpy. There was someone else limping around as well (can’t remember who that was).

I’m on the “Eagles will be a different team this week” side of the fence.

x2 on Mcdermott. It looked to me like Phillys gameplan was to play not to lose(wich always backfires), but also play a little vanilla in order to either disguise their play in the playoffs or keep best players rested. Why they did that, I don’t know cuz a 2 seed is quite different than a 6. I think your thinking Sheldon Brown, he wasn’t at 100% last week. And yes we will be different this week. I think you said before your from Philly. what part?

Can’t argue with these picks at all.

The question is, which one is going to be the blowout game…there always is right?

My guess would be the Packers vs Cards. I like the Pack in this one. Maybe something like 42 to 17, Pack over Cards.

The Jets vs Bengals looks like a snoozer unless you like one of those teams. With all the running plays I expect, it should be a quick game. 20 to 6, Jets over Bengles.

Ravens vs Pats I won’t watch cause I despise both teams…fuck the score and fuck them.

Eagles vs Cowboys should be the game to see this weekend imo. I hope it goes right to the end. 37-34 Eagles over Cowboys would be a good show.

I don’t buy the fact that the Eagles were just taking it easy in that game. Why would you not want your first game in the playoffs to be a homefield game and win the division. Players take a lot of pride in winning the division. I still think the game will be much closer than the game in week 17.

I’ll admit they way Philly played last week scared me man, they did have alot to play for. I’ll be on the edge of my seat tomorrow night. philly by 14

Personally I feel that the Eagles have much better depth, and much more playoff experience.

The turning point, however, is the fact that it is near impossible to beat a good team 3 times in the same year. You have already shown your hand twice, and coming up with enough changes and adaptations to make the third time different is a very hard task.

I do think this will be the best game of the first weekend, as them teams have a very heated/hateful rivalry.
