Redskins = WTF??!?

I was there. I think I was the only Skins fan in my entire section. I was surrounded by Giants, Dallas, and Eagles fan. It was like the entire NFC East came to make fun of me… hahah. Still made for a good time though.

As an Eagles guy, I’m happy to see any of the other NFC East team lose. I know it was a long shot, but I was hoping to see the Foreskins beat NY. That franchise is just in a shambles.

What the hell was that kick play reconfigure play? They did the same thing after the time out!! When you have to resort to weird bullshit like that, all is lost.

My question is, what was up with that fake field goal? That was beyond terrible.

There is some really good matchups this week starting wtih Chargers vs. Titans. I know the Chargers want to win to clinch the first round bye, but they have had a ton of injuries. I think they are on to their 3rd string center unless Hardwick comes back.

Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh has huge playoff implications written all over it. Should be a good game.

Denver vs. Philadelphia is another game with huge playoff implications.

Of course the sunday night game is Dallas vs. Washington. A bunch of bias for NFC east teams. Either one of the two previous games I mentioned should be the sunday night game instead.

The funny thing is I actually thought we could pull it off. The way we had played against the Saints really inspired hope, and then we shat on Oakland. Then MNF happens. ARGH…

They called that kick play and I was like “Oh god…” Then the timeout, followed by the exact same play. I just dropped my head in shame. At least we showed Bruce Allen exactly what he has to work with…

Why is every NFC East team so wishy-washy? Each team goes through periods of looking stellar and then hits incredibly ugly lows. Unfortunately my skins have had more lows than highs…

It’s not like they schedule the games the week before. When they created the schedule, I am sure they did not realize the Skins would have literally shit the bed. Plus Dallas is “America’s Team.”

I think that those games mentioned should be good. I am predicting a Titans/Baltimore/Phili win.

Thank you Santa for the early Xmas present…A Steeler win!

503 passing for Big Ben…that’s supposed to happen over a two to three week period not one game lol. Their offensive co-ordinater B.A. is driving me nuts. I wanna see them run more but he sees them every day and knows what they are better at, and right now and it’s the passing game that’s giving them the best chance to win.

I don’t know how Hines Ward does it. The guy is slow as hell but still gets open and racks up the yards. Single coverage helps(thanks Santonio) and Mike Wallace and his speed have helped as well. A couple of more good years and he will get a chance at the H.O.F.

Now just beat the Ravens.

Go Black and Gold

Also, is it just me or is it against the law of broadcasters to never, ever, ever say NFL. It’s always “The National Footbal Leauge” I noticed it last year with Rod Woodson…weird.[/quote]

It is against the law of NFL broadcasting to think outside the box. Aikman and Buck are fucking morons.

The onside kick call was genius, should have been recovered if 24 wasn’t a stupid fuck, and saved the game either way by basically forcing GB to score quickly. Give Ben the ball and 2 minutes to work with and it won’t matter if the endzone is in fucking Japan, he’ll get there before 0:00.

Its gonna take at least 5 years after his eligiblity to put into the hall of fame. He has better stats than Stallworth and Swann, but I don’t think he’s flash enough to get in quickly.

It’s a stretch I know, but maybe his blocking, toughness, SB MVP can squeek him in. I don’t consider not getting into the HOF a crime like some.

Some fans get right bent out of shape if their “guy” dosen’t get in. I’ve no dought there will be protesters if Kurt Warner dosen’t get in first ballot. That dead zone in the middle of his career is a deal breaker imo but before and after that is pretty damn good.

Chargers locked up the #2 seed and a bye. Can’t believe they were underdogs to the Titans after they have proved their domination in December.

Yes, the Bolts stomped on the Titans.

Philly squeaker! Whew!

Is it just me or has the officiating been horrible in a large amount of the games this year?

And congrats to the Jets, now those old geezers in Miami can keep living off their season for another year.

I was going to start a new thread but what the hell.

They lost…the Colts lost…oh yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh. All those close games finally caught up with them. Fuck them even if Manning didn’t play the 2nd half.

It goes to show you that the 07 Pats were the greatest football team in history, bar none. Sure they lost to the Giants in the Superbowl but that was sheer luck on the part of the Giants and unluckiness on the Pats part. If that mtherfucker didnt have glue on his helmet, if the Pats weren’t emotionally drained they’d be Superbowl champs that year.

But theres hope yet. The Patriots are in good position to get to the AFC Champ game. After they beat Indy they’ll probably get the Chargers in a close one. I’d give that game as of right now to the Chargers but they’re gonna fuck up in the playoffs so put the Pats in the Superbowl. Now…this is where its going to get interesting. Its going to be Arizona, Pit, or likely Philly as the NFC champs. Count NO out of course… If its Arizona or Philly then the NFC has a slightly greater margin for victory.

I’ve said it now and I’ll say it again. You cannot win a football game if you do not sack the quarterback. Thats fundamental Mike Ditka football. Sack the fucking quarterback.

They need to fix this. It has been getting worse IMO every year. Like they are fucking it up on purpose.

Talk about true homerism. First you call the 07 Pats the greatest team in history and they DIDN’T even win the Superbowl. Now you are claiming the Pats will make it to the Superbowl while not even knowing who you will play in the first round. My team has a better record than the Pats and I know better than to already claim them AFC champs. Typically Boston fan.

How the hell did the Panthers beat the Giants? I guess Delhomme just lost his job.

Oh yeah, Fuck the Pats.

The difference between me and you is that when I celebrate I pop champagne like I won a championship game whilst you stick with the punch. Pussy…
