NFL Discussion Thread 2009

Broncos continue to suck dick, much to the benefit of the Chargers.

The donkeys continue another collapse!! Go Chargers!! AFC west looked good today except for the donks.

How you fuckers beat the steelers…I will never know…

Browns are in a dogfight for #1 draft pick, it’s a tough battle with TB and STL but I think after today Detroit will be out of the fight. Ndamukong Suh or Russel Okung… tough choice.

The Chiefs and Raiders were surprising this week.

im from australia they just started showing NFL on our tv here its a pretty good technical game i enjoy it alot, just had a few questions

do college football players get paided to play ? like NFL players or do they play for free
are they allowed private sponsorship money ?

does the quater back have a radio to talk to the couch in his helmit ?
if not does the QB pick all the plays himself or does the couch tell him what to do some how each play ?

Fucking special teams killed my Steelers…again. All week they talked about fixing the problems on coverage. Starters saying they are willing to do it even at risk of injury. We’ll,do our homework etc…Opening kickoff, you guessed it, 97 yard return by K.C. for six.FUCK FUCKIN’ FUCKERS!

They could have gained a game back on the bungles cause they shit the bed yesterday too. The leauge has caught to them(Steelers) and it shows.

  3. No College players are amatuers. They are not allowed to take any money at all. They can have a regular job, but they have to show up, no freebies. Violations of this can get the school fined and the player banned from playing.

  4. In the pros the QB does have a radio and receives the plays from the coach. However the QB has a ability to audible out of that play and call a different play according to what the defense is in.

They do go to school for free most of the time in D1 football though.

Yes sir that is a very good point.

How much they actually go to class is a whole new subject.

HOW ABOUT THEM TITANS! YEAH, BITCH!

Chris Johnson is a fucking beast.

No shit!..he runs hard, and he’s not really that big. I think guys underestimate how tough he is when they go to tackle him.

What do you guys think of an independent source to evaluate concussions. If a doctor say’s to the leauge, do not play him who’s to say he wasen’t payed off to make sure he sits. Especially if he’s a QB. Alot of money involved in sports betting as everyone knows. I know I sound paranoid but fixing in pro sports is a fact. Some sports more than others. The NFL is a pretty tight ship, but it is possible no?

I think that the players will get shafted in the end, losing roster bonuses and shit.

Plus I’m pretty sure Vegas has their talleywackers in the NFL’s bosom as it is. But I’m a negative asshole… Who knows.

Forgot about bonuses…good point. I read somewhere Shanahan was a real basterdo when it came to sitting players who were approaching incentive numbers. Owner loved him for it, could be horseshit.

Tallywacker lol, right away I thought of the movie Porky’s.

Vince Young actually looked pretty good last night. I despise scrambling quarterbacks and think that any successful NFL QB must be a pocket passer, but Vince Young did a great job of looking to pass first and run second, instead of having Michael Vick syndrome.

How about some early football this Thursday? I just wish they would have picked some more entertaining teams…

Wol, there is an ass whooping going on in the bayou.

You must be pleased… lol

I think Brady is a little bitch and everyone in that locker room hates him.

I didn’t think the Pats would win, but I didn’t think I’d turn the game off third quarter. Absolute shit.
