Also, still waiting for the fine here…
Things I believe are going to occur regarding this game.
Physical. These two teams are going to bang like bulls in a cubicle. All game.
Two pronged running attack established early by both teams. We’re in for a treat, seeing 4 of the more beastie RB’s in the game get their touches. I don’t think either brother is going to let his QB off the leash for the first couple series.
Ravens will gameplan for the read option. Atlantas DE’s stayed home becaue of the Kaepernick run-risk, completely allowing Gore and James to go off. Ravens will look for an answer to that. SF will also (possibly) change their blocking schemes, perhaps even involving a FB to pick up strong side LB so the Tackles/TE’s can seal off the DE’s by pushing them to the sidelines.
Special Teams play will be terribly important, as field position is going to be at a premium.
We might see Tyrod Taylor come off the bench for a couple read-option plays. John saying to Jim “I can do that shit too…”
With what I can only assume will be an all out attack, each defense is going to get to the QB hard and fast. If one or the other QB goes down, my confidence leans in SF’s direction.
Fun. This is going to be a really interesting and deeply layered ballgame with a lot of angles to watch and appreciate. Brother V Brother, the buttoned up East Coast QB vs. the Gunslinger Renegade, RB’s running with pride on the line, two veterans (Lewis/Reed) getting perhaps their last sniff at a ring… Boldin with redemption on the brain, Moss with redemption on the brain…
This championship is going to be earned, not given, and that’s good shit for this league.

Not even close brah.
Flactard won’t be able to put up 34 points against SF.
More like 27-17(maybe 24) San Fran.
The Eagle will be fine, and play well.
The game will come down to Kapernick or however you spell his name. If he stays calm and collected like he did last week, the 9ers win this game with Balt getting some garbage points at the end that make it seem closer than it really was.
However, if that kids picks this week to come back down to reality, well the the Ravens win in a tight game with some serious, serious physical play.
No respect for the Ravens. Story of the season. I guess beating probably the two best teams in the league back-to-back isn’t enough. That’s fine…
I think it’ll be a close game more like the Ravens/Denver game than the Ravens/Pats game.
It’s not that Baltimote isn’t getting any respect, it’s the fact that their D is old and has struggled against mobile QB’s because of it.
This. Apprently you missed the part where I said Flacco (The Eagle) will play well…
Was the “apparently you missed the part…” Intended for me or USMC?
35-17 49ers. MVP, Vernon Davis

USMC. I didn’t intend that to read nasty. It was in more a “matter of fact” tone…

Ladies and gentlemen
Joe Flacco
I am not going to join the shit storm, especially about stats, who gives a fuck about them.
I like seeing the style of play, finding a way to win.
Guys who play with heart, for the glory, not the money or the fame.
These two teams are not about finesse at all, it’s gonna be a knock 'em, sock 'em slug fest.
Look out, Brady got fined a whole 10K.

haha Flacco doesn’t get the praise he deserves, but he runs his mouth about it too. In fact the Ravens as a team are loose lipped with the self promotion and shit talking.
But in the end they always play NE hard, and were the better team on Sunday.
As to the GOAT conversation:
Montana was and is the GOAT. End of conversation.
Brady would have to win 3 more rings to even be in the conversation. Something happened to him after the loss in the SB in 2007 and he lost his edge in big games, he just lays eggs too foten now in them. (Part of this is a D that sucks it, so he knows he needs to carry the team at times.)
Montana may not be GOAT for ever, but Brady will never pass him. Brady is certainly more likely than not #2. If not #2, without a doubt 3.
Farve is top 10-15 sure, but not top 5.
Aikman doesn’t get enough praise in the GOAT rankings because that team was far and away one of the best to ever have been on the field wearign the same uniform. They were fucking good. So it kind of dulls his shine a bit, when you have Smith to hand off to and that O-Line.
(Shudder I can’t believe I just gave the Cowboys that much props.)

Ya, but Beans you’ve got to understand around here his own fans were calling for his removal just 6 weeks ago. I have a friend that in all seriousness wanted to bring Mark Sanchez in to challenge Flacco for the starting position after the 1st Bronco game…
I think the Ravens do talk too much, but I don’t think Flacco really does. As far as the “elite QB” crap he said at the beginning of the season, he already explained it’s about mentality not fact.
As far as the GOAT goes, everyone has their own reason for saying who they think it is. I was just throwing Favre out their. I don’t think he’s #1, but I feel he’s underrated and always has been. I also think it’s damn near impossible to compare QB’s that played in different eras. Would Johnny U be awesome in today’s league, probably not. He’d probably be an average QB is my guess, like a Flacco or Romo.
