NFL 2011 Season Starts Now

orton might not win games but u can’t call him a bad qb… he had a monster year last year…

4 losses were by 7 or less… in that case u can say its the qb’s fault the rest of their losses is on the defense… i mean seatle dropping 31… last year’s raiders dropping 59? these are not powerhouse offenses…

the thing with henne is that he’s an emo player… u have to build his confidence otherwise he won’t play well… i remember the jets games two years ago when he threw for 300+ yds in each with multiple td’s

if u get him going he’ll do well… he only had 1 pick last night at the game’s end… can’t blame him for the effort last night

If that was the case then I would understand and agree, but he was a highly questionable first round pick at best, still hasnt proven a thing. Orton, if I remember correctly had a pretty good year last year and was responsible for turning a scrub into a legitimate threat once again (Lloyd)
Lets make this simple. Orton is 5-19 in his last 24 starts. Nough said! This is why the clamoring for Tebow, who btw kept them in & won in his 3 starts last yr. The way the broncos running game is, I’d start Tebow too, just for the threat of the run.
Tebow makes plays, he makes shit happen. So really, who gives a shit if he doesn’t do a drill right in practice.
Because man do you think Brady and Peyton have shitty practice? Favre may have had some shitty practice but I can guarantee he was still a safer bet cause he did not have all the flaws that Tebow has.

He has Leftwich’s throwing speed and he is not even close to being Mike Vick’s speed. Dude will get crushed and not make a full season.
I agree I don’t see Vick making a full season. He’s to injury prone. That’s fine by me. See I am not pissed about the whole dog thing with Vick. What made me really pissed off is that he admitted he didn’t try when he was in Atlanta. It was kinda obvious, but man that pissed me off. So I really want to crush him at the dome, but Atl looked so fucking flat last week, it’s going to be a battle to be competitive. The Eagles are stacked, period. And we have trouble with them even when they are in last place. I do not want to start the season 0 - 2 even if it’s not a killer over all.
If we do turn it around I will have great hope for this year.

Can’t argue with you there…

Lol emo player, his own teams fans were chanting for Orton during training camp and he comes out and drops 400. Dude is just going to take time and now he has a better OC it seems like.

if the falcons that i’ve seen play last year show up then it should be a good game… they need to hit vick early and pressure him all day… eagles o-line is shoddy at best… so the falcons need to assert their pressure fast and early vick doesn’t need a lot of time to chuck it 40yds down field and let his athletic wr make a play…

What would the Eagles game been like if Steve Jackson played the whole game? In his two carries he had almost 60 yards and a TD.

Look for Turner to have a big game, and ATL to go back to running the ball and play action pass.

exactly i think the new coordinator will make all the difference… dan henning taught henne to always play it safe so even though he has the physical ability he always checks down cuz its the safe throw… usually the safe throw is the right throw but u basically get what henne was the last two years… a timid qb that throws in the flat and multiple 3 and outs… daboll though not as innovative as some OC’s isn’t afraid of letting henne open it up as long as its the right situation (1 on 1 on the outside, etc) having B-Marsh go up and grab also helps greatly…

DJ what happened to the cowboys? romo was playing a beautiful game till the late int…

special teams and defense kept the jets in the game… god knows ryan’s blitz and stunts had sanchez looking lost…

Now B-Marsh is emo.

What did R Bush look like? To bad about your RB from Kansas state I really thought that was going to be a hell of a combo.

Did you see who was in the secondary by the end of the game? McCann, McCrary and Ball.
Jets exploited it.

Romo is a gunslinger at heart and is going to make mistakes ala Brett Favre his idol IRL.

Was not Romo’s fault his D and special teams blew a 14 point lead.

I am just glad our OL looked better than what I feared. 3 new OL all young is a hell of a way to start the season especially against the Jets.

columbo is a revolving door… i wish sparano didn’t have his cowboy ties sometimes…

yea i had high hopes for daniel thomas… looks like hamstring is gonna keep him sidelined for a while…

Columbo is done that is why we drafted Smith and he was shipped. I love the guy, cause he has a nasty streak, but I am afraid he cannot do it at a high level.

I thought I heard Thomas had more serious injury glad its only a hammy.

ask foster about the hamstring injuries… i’d rather have a 1 and done injury than one that lingers for weeks…

good to see odrick play well last night…

After all the debate on Tebow, I’m going with this senario. He’s tough but not that tough.

Speaking of tall QB’s, I remember Seattle drafting Dan McGwire, Mark McGwire’s younger brother, dude was like 6’7", didn’t last long if memory serves.

Man I dont remember the McGwire dude. Sorry about the Tebow debate, I just do not see the reasoning. We could name 1000’s of kids who were decent to great college players and did nothing in the NFL. Time will tell.

When he lined up under center it looked really weird, I tried to find some footage to post but there is none, go figure.

The opinions I would trust on Tebow are his teamates, especially the veterans, OFF the record, no one else’s, and that’s not gonna happen. I will admit I have a mancrush on his quads lol.

No need to apologize for anything man, just shooting the shit about foosball is all.

Ever notice how Romo’s throwing motion looks like he’s trying to squeeze a grapefruit between his ear and his shoulder?, like he’s hunching up on one side, I have an image of Stephen Hawking with a football lol. Works for him but funky looking.

I could not believe my eyes the other night when tried to run it in. After injuring his wing last year WTF was he thinking. He gets alot of hate but I like the guy for his toughness.

He kept things under control till things started to get tight. He is a competitive guy he may not show it like P. Rivers, but he wants to win. He may be the Danny White of the 2000’s but again we have no choice at this point. So what do we need to do, get better Defense and special teams.

His throwing motion is different, but he has a very quick release, Bill Parcels hammered him for the first 3 years about his release.

I just hope JJ doesnt get crazy and try to do something stupid at this point.

Good God thanks for ruining my morning.

We need CB’s not WR’s.
