Holy fuck, his parents should be ashamed of themselves, they get an F too.
Really though, he only has to be smart enough to count how many zero’s are on the check.

In a related story wilbur the horse from the famed TV show scored a 9 on the wonderlic.
can’t believe vick got a 100 mil contract… honestly i don’t see him in the league in 6 years… 4 tops…
guy’s oline couldn’t block a paper bag from hitting the qb… and vick holds the ball too long…
Breaking News:
“Titans agreed to terms with Chris Johnson on a four-year, $53.5 million contract.
It’s actually an extension, so Johnson is locked up for six years. CJ2K will get at least eight days of practice in before Week 1, giving him plenty of time to prepare to play against against the Jaguars. Owners drafting this weekend can safely select Johnson No. 1 overall in most formats. Even if he is eased in slowly at first, Johnson will resume every-down status rapidly. His deal includes a whopping $30 million in guarantees and a $13.3 million annual salary on the new money. If those numbers hold up upon further examination, CJ2K will have gotten exactly what he wanted – elite player, not just elite running back money.”

Good for him, no reason not to like the guy. Still, that’s alot of scratch for a RB.
Nice! I picked him 3rd overall in my draft and it looks like it’s going to pay off.

I lost respect for CJ after he tweeted to all this “Fake” Titans fans to STFU, he doesnt have a job like they do and he makes real money etc. Dude is just a stupid kid with bad teeth that needs to grow up.
He probably shouldn’t have said that. Everybody was hating on him though for holding out. I don’t remember many people hating on Revis last year for holding out.

Untrue; Revis was catching quite a bit of flak around these parts.
edit: not to mention the “serve you right” stance most took when he pulled his hammy.
titans just blew their wod on a running back who’s been in the league for 3 years and is already past his prime.
he will NEVER rush for more than 2,000 yards again and last year he averaged 85 yards a game? He wasnt even in the top 3 of leading rushers in the NFL last season.

How is he past his prime? Tomlinsons best rushing year was his 6th season. Curtis Martin had his best statistical year in his 10th. Faulk in his 6th year. Sanders his 9th year. Just to name a few different good RBs from different times. He might not ever hit 2000 yards again, which is really rare by the way, but I think he will still do really good. Everybody has their own opinions and I guess time will only tell.

Yea I wouldn’t say he’s past his prime, I would simply say that RB is to risky of a position to devote that much money to.
There a much bigger pool of quality RBs, compared to other positions on the field, that’s why it makes so much more sense to sign to decent (non-big name guys) for less money. Hedge your bets.

X2
That’s how Pittsburgh does it. They do pay their RB’s a competitive wage when they have to but they will never ever break the bank on one. Even when they re-signed the Bus it wasen’t crazy money. They rode the wheels off fast Willie and tossed him out because he wanted more money than they thought he was worth and the fact he was breaking down already, same with Barry Foster.
Even now if Mendy tried to hold out they would let him sit on his ass till the cows come home. They always seem to have quality back-ups at this position, this year is no exception, great backfield this year it seems.
Anyone else notice CJ and his quirks and jerks on the sidelines? I think he may have tourettes or a compulsive disorder, not that it matters, just something I noticed.
His tweet was stoopid and will not endear him to fans at all.

He has a diagnosed twitch.
Let’s hear your thoughts on this:
Terrelle Pryor, suspended for the first five games of the season for his role in things at Ohio State
Jim Tressel, hired as an NFL assistant and assessed zero penalty for his role in things at Ohio State

Its ridiculous. Im not saying Pryor shouldnt be punished but he was a college KID. Tressel should have known better(and did) and should have an even greater consequence.
