To be fair, what’s he supposed to say…“We’re really looking forward to drafting Andrew Luck”?

If he wins the starting job then yes, but at this point he is in a competition with a journeyman QB. Bold statements are fine if you have some track record. Making the playoffs would have been a bold statement.
How have you been Mrs. Politely?

If you’re on twitter follow @DanSnyderCares… pretty good.
I heard someone talking about how John Beck can be good despite being from BYU because Steve Young did it. Yes because Steve Young was a good QB because of his religion and not because he had a stronger, much more accurate arm and better legs than Beck.
If you have been in the NFL 5 years and haven’t started a game… you probably aren’t a good starting QB. He hasn’t exactly been sitting behind Joe Montana.

Lol no dont follow Snyder and yes I expect Rex to win the job. I thought the whole Beck thing was weird myself.
I think Shanny would be putting WAY to much on the line with Beck, and I still think he is putting something on the line with sexy Rexy also.

I’m supposed to be on hiatus from this site, but I have to keep up on this thread so that I am adequately prepared to talk smack on Sundays; particularly since my ex got Sunday custody of my standard bar and I have to break in with a whole new group of drunks. Oh, and I’m stalking Print. I figure he’s gotta show up in here at some point.

Well I have bugged Print in another thread he needs to get his ass here.
Why the hiatus from this site?
That is why I love the fact my X lives 4 hours away.

I was wasting too much time on here and getting all sorts of worked up about things that really shouldn’t matter. I apparently lack impulse control ![]()
Print should show up by the time the season starts. At least I hope so, I rely on he and Matty to break down the Jets for me since I mostly get Eagles chatter where I live.

I’m going to save you a season of football watching right now:
The Jets will be an above average regular season team that makes the playoffs. You will think they are an elite team because of how much Rex Ryan and his players talk, but they will really just be an average playoff team. They’ll lose in the second or third round of the playoffs and it will be someone else’s fault.
Now why the hell are you a Jets fan and a Phillies fan?
My mormon senses were tingling.

Sexy Rexy is not an allstar QB but he did lead DA BEARS to a superbowl. Yes they were led by their defense and Devin Hester, but he did QB a team to a SB. Id give it to him over Beck for sure.

The Eagles fans represent all that is evil about Philly sports fans. Plus, I can’t stand the way ownership does business. A questionable move like what happened with Dawkins and they go into hiding, but I’ll be damned if they weren’t on the radio the day of the Nnamdi signing humming their own nuts. Oh, and they are clearly delusional when they compare themselves to the Steelers and refer to themselves as the “gold standard”. They just aren’t a likable team.

Funny story… was at Dewey Beach once with my ex and a buddy. My buddy trips and a group of guys chuckle as he almost falls. My buddy turns around and screams “Oh yeah, REAL FUCKIN FUNNY! Come laugh to my face you piece of shit!”
Guy says “Let me guess, you’re an Eagles fan”
Friend is indeed an Eagles fan.

This makes absolutely no sense to me after they just played in back 2 back championship games. If I remember correctly they blamed no one but themselves. If you look back just 2 yrs ago when Peyton lit them up in that game, they went out & drafted a corner K. Wilson) to shut down his play. Last yr after being trounced in the first half by Mendenhal they in turn drafted def. line this yr.
Funny how everyone wants to hate on the Jets as of late. Just a few yrs back they were bottom-feeders & no one even knew who the starting qb was. Now that they’ve won a few, everyone & their blind step-brother want to call them out.
I’ve got no issue w/anyone talking down about them as long as they know what they are talking about.
& if anyone doesn’t think w/a healthy Leonhard & Pace AND the addition of Wilkerson & Ropati that def. won’t be nasty, you’re just plain fucking dumb.
If Sanchez can kick his completion percentage up & do it early in the season they can easily get to the SB.

An average playoff team…OK Ill play, I do believe at this point the Jets have taken a step back, I look at the AFC on a whole and besides the Pats and Stillers I dont see a team that is clearly better, actually no other team should be placed above the Jets other than the above mentioned. Even the teams that I mentioned there is no reason to believe that the Jets cant play with either one of em.
I guess as a jet fan Ill take being an average PLAYOFF team, not too many teams can boast of the Jets success of the past two years. Oh and enlighten me on who we blamed on our loss to the Steelers?
If I remember correctly, Rex Ryan was basically giving Mike Tomlin and the rest of the steelers reach arounds he loved them so much, which was probably part of the problem.
