I wont believe it till I see it. Yall were supposedly deadly last year but yall turned out like the rest of the West. Since I havent kept up, have yall upgraded the special teams any?
Obviously you didn’t pay any attention to the Chargers last year. Jackson held out for most of the season, Floyd got hurt, Gates got hurt. The Chargers were so desperate at WR that they traded for Crayton from Dallas and then he got hurt! After all that they put up really good numbers. I haven’t paid any attention to non starters, but i’m sure they have new guys to play special teams.
Gates and Floyd kept returning all the way up to Week 14. Gates had 5 most receiving games and Floyd 3. And Jackson I agree with you. That was just an all around bad situation. Having receiving difficulties does put a strain on your offense but that wasnt the main reason imo. Im not a fan of Norv Turner.
Gates played 10 games and Floyd played 11. Jackson obviously didn’t play until the last five games when the Chargers were already pretty much out of it. I’m not making excuses for the offense. They did fine without them. When Gates was out, Randy McMichael stepped up big time. The reason they didn’t make the playoffs was turnovers. Mainly guys who love to fumble and I guess you can consider blocked punts turnovers too. A team will never do very good if their turnover ratio is negative. But yes, back to my original post. With Floyd and Jackson
together again, the passing offensive will be explosive.
Agreed. Btw, anyone have NFL Sunday Ticket? I went ahead and got it this week and am looking forward to it. Especially living in Texas and trying to watch sucky quality Green Bay games streaming online.

I have NFL RedZone as well, which is honestly on the level of a highly addictive drug.

I’ve sometimes been flipping to it during the off season to get my fix, just to hear the music that they play on it while football isn’t going on.

man, since I moved I dont have the redzone…Im gonna miss it terribly.

You can just swing by my place every weekend then. We just put in a 120 inch projector.

It’s only like a 5 hour plane flight.

I’m seriously thinking that NE’s addition of Ochocinco could be one of the best of the off season. He’s always had talent (although he’s older now) and seems to working as hard as possible:

“After the group sessions were over, Ochocinco did some extra work on pass routes with Brady and Welker, with a lot of three- way dialogue going on throughout. Practice. Teaching. Learning. This is a good sign if you’re looking for fantasy points (or just Patriots points) from these three.”

I wouldnt doubt it. He is a very talented athlete. They said that the first season he was in the NFL, he would sleep overnight for 3 months in the Bengals staff office just to go over their offense strategy and plays. Its a shame he didnt get with a stronger team. I believe NE will have fun with him.

Chad( I refuse to use his clown name) Johnson is one of the best at the tippy toe tap reception, he has that shit down. He seems to be one of those players that feeds off the crowd so when things are going his way he’s almost perfect, Carson Palmers’s arm is far from perfect so he sulks, talents still there but his head ain’t in it.

He’s going into the perfect situation which sucks for the rest of the AFC.

From Packernews.com:

"Bodog.com has new odds on the winner of this year?s Super Bowl, and the defending-champion Packers are not the favorites.

The New England Patriots are favored slightly ahead of the Packers at 13-to-2. The Packers are 7-to-1, and the Philadelphia Eagles, who have made the biggest moves in free agency with the signings of Nnamdi Asomugha, Jason Babin and Cullen Jenkins, are 8-to-1.

Behind those teams are San Diego (11-to-1), the New York Jets (12-to-1), and Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers (tied at 14-to-1).

Buffalo and Carolina have the worst odds at 100-to-1.

After the draft in April, the Patriots and Packers were tied as favorites at 7-to-1.

Bodog.com also puts the odds of Brett Favre playing in a regular-season game this year as 2-to-1."

Thoughts?

I have had the Sunday Ticket for 6 years now, greatest thing ever created. I can switch back and forth between the Red Zone on the Ticket and all the games. I can also put in my Fantasy team and get updates while I watch.

How many Playoff wins? SB wins? MVP’s? Passing yardage leader? Passing TD leader? = 0
How many dogs killed? = 100’s

Now I will stop being a dick, you want to post in this thread then keep the Bullshit you bring into other threads out of this one.

Lions HC Jim Schwartz: “Mikel Leshoure tore his achilles in practice today. He’s going to be out for the season.”

Damn Lions just never get a break.

Ravens sign Ricky Williams. Wow
