NFL 2011 Season Starts Now

G’dam eagles, that ruined my day.

Went to the Eagles, makes me happy. Don’t have to face him twice a year anymore.

Lol touche man, I was definitely thinking about what Farmersson mentioned, didn’t even think about your tough luck there man. Brutal.

Say goodbye to Dez Bryants’ production 2 games out of the year, lol.

Btw DJ, Packers made about $19 million in salary room by cutting about 5 players. Some sources are saying that they may try to resign James Jones since they have the space now. At the same time though, yall still have room available as well. It may come down to who Jones wants to be with more. Do you think they will even pursue a WR with the line up of Bryant, Austin, and Ogletree? Mark Clayton is still available too.

To add to the list, they drafted and are starting Clay Matthews brother, Casey Matthews as MLB. If he has half the talent his brother had, watch out.

Fuck,

when I got a big green boner for this Nnamdi thing I didnt think it was for the iggles.

oh well,

Sims-walker to the Rams is a nice move.

Lets go Eagles!!! We should either move Asante to FS since he’s a ball hawk or trade him to the Pats for hayensworth to beef up our D-line even more(Babin + Cole + 2 shutdown corners is gonna be a nightmare for QB’s.)

Michael Irvin is completely insane. NFL Network needs to drop him. He comes across terribly, I almost feel embarrassed watching him. Get rid of him and Dukes and have way more Mike Mayock.

Sources are now saying that Asante Samuel is on the trading block. Dont be surprised if the Jets grab him. They are still in the hunt for a quality corner.

The 49ers are doing nothing in free agency, unless you count losing players…

I honestly hope we start Alex Smith all season, lose, and get Luck.

I think Harbaugh might be starting Smith just to do that. GENIUS.

If Harbaugh turns into a whinny bitch like his brother(Ravens HC), are you okay with that?

I like the coach for the Ravens as far as sticking up for his team and taking the blame for losses etc, I would play my heart out for the guy myself but on the sidelines he comes of as a cry baby to the refs, to me anyways, losing to Pittsburgh over and over again will do that to you lol.

Never watched Jim H coach colledge so I don’t know if he’s a suck.

^ Did you ever see the interview/docu of the whole Harbaugh family together? really good to see all the sons sit around and gush about their old man, hyper fuckin’ family I’ll say that.

SanFran should flourish with him as the HC, just don’t drop you pants to make a point coach lol.

C’mon WestCoast7, how can you want your team to lose again, year after year? To me personally, no offense to you, that’s just idiotic. I’m sick of them being below .500 for the last 8 years.
On KNBR, the host asked why would you want your team to tank a season to draft someone. The calls were back and forth with that one. Unless there’s a guarantee that Luck will be the next Elway on the NFL level, why tank?
But if they start 1-5 and look like crap before the bye, Cincy is the only team they have a good chance of winning, I might be one of those rooting for Luck. lol

Looks like the jets to make a big pitch for burress, this would be good for sanchize

he New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta has confirmed the Jets’ interest. Bouchette has also been told by Giants sources that Burress is “unlikely” to re-sign with the G-Men, and that the race for his services has come down to the Steelers and Jets. Burress spent Saturday morning at Steelers camp. The Jets are likely next on his list of free agent visits, and they can offer much more playing time with a potential starting job opposite Santonio Holmes

im still depressed

Hey MattyXL,
Watching the Jets the last 2 playoff games, the one piece on D that you’re missing is a pass rusher, specifically an edge rusher. Vernon Gholston was supposed to be that player drafted in 08, but he pretty much sucks. He’s the poster child for the saying “Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane”. Is there anyone on your team to fill that role?

We have 5 Super Bowl trophies, that’s how.

I’m obviously being sarcastic about losing just to get Luck. Of course I want Gore to thrive under Harbaugh, of course I want Kapernick to tear it up with the cannon of an arm that he has, of course I want Willis to continue ripping heads of. This year will be a rebuilding year though, plain and simple.

…and if we get Luck? I’m not going to complain.

My brother, who was in San Fran, went to dinner with some guys and one of them happened to be a trainer for Stanford. He said not many guys on the team liked Harbaugh. They said he was a pretty good motivator, but no one really liked him. Players were happy he was gone. Luck didn’t have the greatest relationship with him either. I’m sure none of the players would say this to the media. I’m not sure what to think of it. Take it as you will, i’m not sure how reliable the guy is that told my brother.
