NFL 2011 Season Starts Now

DJ looks like the Boys are looking into Nnamdi now. I actually hope yall snag him. Many are going haywire about how the Jets coverage would be unstoppable with him. He just doesnt hit. Revis picks his side and Nnamdi has never be that type of player in his carreer. Also, Nnamdi is going to expect a hefty payroll and Jets probably wont have that room.[/quote]

Yep I just have this feeling it is going to happen, Kirwin and Ryan have been saying Nnamdi to Dallas since March.

Ochocinco is apparently willing to pay anything to get his jersey number.

If you were Aaron Hernandez, what would you propose?

I’d ask for an absurd amount of money donated to a charity and have him sign a contract that he keeps his hole shut (including Twitter account and endzone celebrations) for a whole year, to be forgiven only if they make the Super Bowl.

I agree 100% with this Jason Whitlock article about the Patriots recent moves:

Highlightts of the article:

This article didn’t mention another questionable move by the Patriots this offseason: drafting Ryan Mallett.

My personal opinion is that personal character means more in the NFL than it does in other sport in that the whole team needs to be focused and unified in order to win consistently. Some coaches can reach people that others can’t, and sometimes problems can be skirted for a certain amount of time, but there is a reason that these kinds of players rarely lead their teams to Super Bowl victories. Of course, there is also a reason I’m not an NFL coach, so take my opinion for what it’s worth.

At least Ochocinco is entertaining, I’ll give him that.

I am told that the Jets have redone the contracts of B Scott, LT, C Pace, Brandone Moore as well as Brunnell to set the stage for Asomugha.

Less money for Nnamdi: Cowboys reached agreement with Marcus Spears on a 5-year, $19.2 million deal.

Great, Nnamdi is going to either two teams I dislike. Get him out of the AFC!

Bart Scott, Calvin Pace, Mark Brunnell have all agreed to restructure their contracts to get Nnamdi, They have the wherewithal to get him and that includes the money. I dont care about him not hitting, he will play one side as he always does and theyll move revis all over the place. Hes not gonna have to hit anyone he just needs to cover them.

RT @AlbertBreer: Filed to NFLN: Per a league source, the Jets, for now, are out of the Nnamdi Asomugha sweepstakes.

WTF!? He signs with the fucking EAGLES?

We both lose, FUCKING EAGLES. FUCK

What the hell? That came out of nowhere, now they have DRC, Samuel and Nnamdi?? That is one serious set of corners. Good luck throwing against that DJ.

Ocho gets to stay 85. Hernandez will wear 81.

True. But lets face it, unless something extremely bizarre happens, Packers should drive into the playoffs(knock on wood). When(of if) that happens, and we play the Eagles, …well…its going to be a nasty game. They are the perfect kryptonite to Green Bay. Hopefully Ryan Grant and James Starks stay healthy and strong.

Oh and I say that the Boys go 9-6 AT BEST.
