The Niners are at best comparable to a Ravens-type team. And imo the Ravens do it better still, better RB, better WRs. Coincidence that both teams are coached by a Harbaugh? Jim Harbaugh is better though.

Your bad that you bought into the “hype”. Some of the key Niner wins this season could’ve easily gone the other way.
“Bought into the hype?” I’ve been a fucking diehard Niners fan since 1979 pal. Obviously you’ve never played the game of football before if you think hype is the sort of word that should be attached to the Niners. Anyone who’s actually played the game before can see that they are a legitimate team in all aspects of the game. They play hard, they’re physically talented everywhere but wide receiver and they’re extremely well-coached.

Hype is for Tebow maniacs and Broncos fans. Sure, some of their wins could have gone the other way. But they didn’t. This one did. It was hardly a fluke play since Williams has muffed a couple kicks this year and he also muffed one in his last college game at ASU. But you obviously know nothing about football if you think this team was all hype.
LOL. Hyperbole much? Ranting when you’re proven wrong is for babies and internet warriorZ.

edit to add: At least I now know what the DB stands for.
Yeah, never heard that one before. At least when I rant and rave or insult people I do it with originality. Personally, I don’t even care that much about the loss. I have a great life and I don’t need to fulfill gaps in it by living vicariously through a fucking sports team. I’m happy for you that your team won. It sounds to me like you’ve never played football, or probably any other sport of any import, so I’m glad that you have some sort of moment of glory to cling to, even if it isn’t actually yours.
I notice (who couldn’t unless they were deaf, dumb, and blind) you tout yourself as some kind of “winner”. Look around at the people on this site who are winners, and take note of how none of them talk like you. Grasshopper.
You know what? I don’t really want to toot my own horn here or reveal too much of the extent of my ego, but if there is one person on this site who has consistently received more positive comments about the manner in which they convey their thoughts on here, it’s me. So while no one on here sounds like me there are all sorts of people on here who wish they sounded like me. And that’s a fact. Shit, in the last NFL thread there was a guy who explicitly requested that I make all of his posts for him. People want to be like winners.

Grasshopper. Jesus Christ.

Both you guys are entitled to your opinions but let it go already. One of the best things about this NFL thread(to me anyways) is the respect factor even if you don’t agree.

Put down the mudshovel, it’s a waste of time anyway. Feel free to tell me to fuckoff and mind my own business lol.

LMFAO! I think that reqest was from me…

edit/And yes I’m envious of folks with great writing skills. I on average read one or two books a week but it sure don’t show in my post’s

I blame Coach Harbaugh for the 49ers loss.

#10 for the 49ers should have been pulled, as he fucked things up 3 times in the game. I have never seen a player (other than a QB) fuck shit up so bad, in such an important game, and the coach needs to have the sack to pull him.

I don’t blame Harbaugh, I blame Williams. I mean, the first thing you’re taught when you return punts is to get as far away from the ball as possible if you’re going to let it drop. It’s not like that hasn’t been ingrained in the guy’s head since he was in high school or anything. That was more boneheaded than the fumble, which was simply a case of not carrying the ball properly.

He also had three punt returns earlier in the game where he called for a fair catch despite the fact that the nearest defender was about 10 yards in front of him. Those could each have been an extra 15 yards or so if he makes the first guy miss. Even if he doesn’t, it’s an extra five yards and when you’re in a tie ballgame late and all you need to win is a field goal, those fair catches could have been what cost the Niners in the end just as much as the fumble and the other muffed punt.

I do wish Harbaugh had gone with someone other than Williams, but he IS a really fast player who can make some plays. But he has a history with this shit. He had a boneheaded play on a punt earlier this year that almost cost the Niners the game against the Seahawks up in Seattle. He’s had at least two punts or kicks where he hasn’t fielded the ball cleanly AND he was the one who dropped the ball on that fucking abortion of an end-around they tried in the first half. I just don’t know who else they have to return punts and kicks with Ted Ginn out. Kendall Hunter maybe?

Yeah, well at least when I lose an avatar bet I don’t avoid the fucking place for three days before I get around to changing it. At least I’m on here facing the music.

Sooooooo…how about that trade the Yankees made with the Mariners? Anyone think Pineda won’t handle the pressure of New York very well?

True that some of the 49ers wins this season could have gone either way, but you can say that about any other team. How about the NYGs that just whooped my team.
But, my teams front 7 on D has 3 all-pro starters. So my team will be built around its D like Baltimore.
Don’t really know about Smith. Sometimes he looked good, sometimes he regressed to jittery Smith that threw at WRs feet when pressured. If he resigns, we’ll see how he is with a full off-season. Kaepernick could challenge to be a starter next year or the year after.

Kaepernick will not be ready 2012, maybe 2013

Maybe being a little nit picky, but I didn’t like how Harbaugh gave Coughlin that dead fish handshake. Generally in a tough fought game such as this a little more mutual respect is called for, especially for a gentleman like Coughlin. Harbaugh is an excellent coach no doubt but he is also an uber douche.

His brother on the other hand is as classy as it gets.
