Hey what did I do?

DB you have to admit there is a ton of shit to be happy about to be a 9’rs fan. You were playing with house money. No off season and Harbaugh takes them to the Championship game, you have years of a well built organization.

You could be fucked like me and be a Cowboys fan, unless some rabid fucking fan goes and kills JJ, we will continue to be average for years to come. :stuck_out_tongue:

The Niners are at best comparable to a Ravens-type team. And imo the Ravens do it better still, better RB, better WRs. Coincidence that both teams are coached by a Harbaugh? Jim Harbaugh is better though.

Your bad that you bought into the “hype”. Some of the key Niner wins this season could’ve easily gone the other way.

Don’t take your frustrations out on your drum kit what ever you do. I almost cracked my best cymbal after last years SB, buy a heavy bag or a practice pad, it’s cheaper.

What was with Gore yesterday?, seems like he would make a good hard run then take himself out of the game for a spell. He must be nursing something, mind you at this point they all are.

Sore fucking loser is what you are.

Everything was set up perfectly for your team to win & they couldn’t close the door. Welcome to the 2nd place club my friend. Seat for ya right up front.

“Bought into the hype?” I’ve been a fucking diehard Niners fan since 1979 pal. Obviously you’ve never played the game of football before if you think hype is the sort of word that should be attached to the Niners. Anyone who’s actually played the game before can see that they are a legitimate team in all aspects of the game. They play hard, they’re physically talented everywhere but wide receiver and they’re extremely well-coached.

Hype is for Tebow maniacs and Broncos fans. Sure, some of their wins could have gone the other way. But they didn’t. This one did. It was hardly a fluke play since Williams has muffed a couple kicks this year and he also muffed one in his last college game at ASU. But you obviously know nothing about football if you think this team was all hype.

Of course I’m a sore loser you fucking asshole. The only people I’ve ever known who handle losing well are people who have grown accustomed to losing. I’m a fucking Winner and always have been so forgive me if I don’t handle this loss very well. You seem to have handles losing your bet with me pretty well. From my experience it’s a clear indication that you’ve been losing at everything your whole life and now the losses are so numerous one more doesn’t even faze you.

LOL. Hyperbole much? Ranting when you’re proven wrong is for babies and internet warriorZ.

edit to add: At least I now know what the DB stands for.

From what I’ve seen, Smith lacks the ability to make the “thread the needle” throws, i.e. he missed Kyle Williams I think it was who had beaten two defenders and was wide open for a long TD. All his best throws are when one side is open. Hope I expressed myself clearly there…

Great runner for sure. No Tim Tebow though -I kid, I kid.[/quote]

He’s made plenty of “thread” throws. I agree, his accuracy is his biggest handicap, but it’s improved significantly this year. And that throw to Williams was NOT a “thread” throw. You clearly aren’t well-versed in actual football so maybe you should just stick to comments like “that was a good game” or “that game went into overtime” or “The Niners lost by three.”

A “thread” throw, as you call it, is where a QB has to throw into a “window”. Sometimes its a window between two DBs and other times (the harder throw to make) it’s over an LB and in front of a DB. Another window, one that you would have noticed him throw through for big plays twice against the Saints and once on the first touchdown yesterday, IF you understood the game (which you don’t), is over a CB and before the safety comes over. That play works well for the Niners, and it’s probably the one you refer to as being when one side is open.

That throw to Williams was NOT a “thread” throw. He had a guy wide open and he just plain fucking missed him. There was no window to throw that ball through. It was more like a garage door. And I’ll say this about Smith: the guy’s mentally tough and I think with Harbaugh guiding him he’s only going to get better. I don’t place any blame for the loss on him at all. The Niners’s receivers struggled all year to get separation and the bottom line is that none of them are playmakers.

They’ve also struggled in pass protection at times. Based on just this year and where I think Smith is headed, I would take him over pretty much any QB not named Brees, Manning, Brady, Rodgers or Roethlisberger. I’d definitely take him over Romo or Vick or Stafford or Rivers. He may not light it up out there, but he isn’t going to make a critical boneheaded play and he IS a physically-talented player.

The 2nd TD pass to Davis was nice. The game winner against the Saints was nice.

The Niners need playmakers at WR. If that is your biggest problem as a team, you are in pretty good shape IMO.

Yeah, never heard that one before. At least when I rant and rave or insult people I do it with originality. Personally, I don’t even care that much about the loss. I have a great life and I don’t need to fulfill gaps in it by living vicariously through a fucking sports team. I’m happy for you that your team won. It sounds to me like you’ve never played football, or probably any other sport of any import, so I’m glad that you have some sort of moment of glory to cling to, even if it isn’t actually yours.

I think it’s just going to be some lame picture of the Apple logo, inspired by my ranting and raving in the Steve Jobs thread and that the Apple logo also connotates the Big Apple. Personally, I think it’s a pretty lame choice but I’m not complaining. I could be sporting a Cowboys avatar. If that’s what he ends up picking I’m just never coming on here until April 1st.

I notice (who couldn’t unless they were deaf, dumb, and blind) you tout yourself as some kind of “winner”. Look around at the people on this site who are winners, and take note of how none of them talk like you. Grasshopper.
