Have you watched the kid play (not being a smartass; I mean beyond a game or two)? He has some of the best ball skills in the league. There’s no doubting that once you see it. By ball skills, I mean the ability to catch the ball when it’s thrown in your vicinity. Combo of hands, athletic ability to maneuver your body, and awareness to be in the right place at the right time. Wallace is average in all three areas, while Brown is excellent in two (hands, athleticism) and average but improving in the other.
True Brown does not have Wallace’s vertical ability. Not having that opposite him would no doubt hurt his production, just like it would with any receiver or offense in general. I’m not saying I want Wallace to go, but if the Steelers have to lose one of the two I’d prefer it be him.
Steelers are saying they’re going to do everything in their power to keep Wallace. They aren’t making any decisions on a possible franchise tag until the 2012 cap number is announced.
Read in today’s paper that Plax is pushing hard to play in Philly. Thinks he & Mike have chemistry. Would definitely be a nice target inside the twenty.

Nope we do not need a WR free agent, I keep yelling for past 5 years our problems are on Defense. People can take the easy way out and blame Romo all they want, but to have to have a fucking shoot out every game cause your Defense couldnt stop a PeeWee football team is stupid.
Look at Indy, they got a taste of what its like when you dont have a QB that can keep you ahead just by his talent alone. You have to have a defense for the long hall.
I would be happy as fuck to go into next season with the same offense but half the defense flipped.

They rank consistantly high every year do they not? I know the pass defense blows but up front pretty stout. Coach Ryan will have the pressure on him for sure.
