Right after the SB if the rhetoric continues. If he(Irsay) announces it during, meaning leading up to SB, it would be terrible for the image of the “horseshoe” as he calls it, too much of a distraction. Bad for business.
Unless of coarse Manning say’s something really really derogatory towards the team or the owner. I personally hope it get at least to the humorous jabs stage before it turns ugly.

A healthy Peyton in Arizona would be wild!

When is Peyton due the 28 million roster bonus?
I’m hearing that the Steelers are looking at Todd Haley for the OC job. Interesting.
I’m really surprised that Keith Butler is staying in Pittsburgh. Lebeau is not going to retire any time soon. Butler is 56 and has been declining offers to interview for DC jobs the last few years. I really don’t understand it. I would hate to see him end up like Tom Bradley at Penn State.
Oh joy the teams playing in London next year. Pats vs Rams. The Rams fucking suck. Why can’t they get two good teams any more. Only once has there been a really good match-up Chargers-Saints in 08. I’ll still go though.
There have been reports that the Jets are going to put Dustin Keller on the trading block this offseason. It seems there is now substantial evidence to support that report. First, the team worked out several TEs during the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Now, reports are coming out that the team brought in Hayden Smith, an Australian rugby player. At (6-7, 240), Smith posses the size and physical ability that most fans have been asking for. The captain of his basketball team in college, Smith is an amazing athlete. However, his lack of American football experience cannot be ignored. If signed, Smith would be tied with OT Austin Howard as the second tallest player on the team, only behind (6-8, 315) DE Ropati Pitoitua.
The Jets have been interested in several Aussie players before. While Smith left without a contract, the bigger picture here is that the Jets might actually be ready to part with Dustin Keller, should the appropriate trade present itself.

There could be injury issue that is not been leaked or let be known.
I’m actually not certain I will. I won’t be buying tickets this thurs, I’ll wait til closer and see how i feel. It didn’t even sell out this year so they should start taking notice if they wanna keep exporting the game.

Kind of decreases your trade abilities.
I think it’s due to the fact that he can’t block. When he is in there the def. knows immediately it’s a pass play. Just like when Mulligan is in it’s a run play.

There is talk of London actually getting its own franchise. Probably either St. Louis or Jacksonville.
I would prefer St. Louis, so Pittsburgh only has to go there once every 8 years.
Is anyone else here already tired of the Peyton Manning saga? I think it’s kind of sad to see the Colts treat him like how he’s being treated, considering the Lucas Oil stadium wouldn’t even exist were it not for his loyal service to the team.
I’m not saying they can’t make a business decision, but Irsay’s tweeting is so classless. It should have been kept in the family, and Peyton should have just been cut a long time ago so he could be free to find a new home.
It’s making me wish Brett would start some “coming out of retirement” rumours so I can hear about something else.
^ Lol about the Favre thing. dude is Dracula and will not die.
I pretty much listen to NFL radio on sirius and NFL network on TV. Yes they will talk about the Peyton thing but nothing like ESPN and other sports channels are talking about it.
Peyton did start it with that interview from the Indiana reporter.

I’ve heard that, I think it would be a bad idea. A lot of the reason they sell out Wembley is because its a once a year novelty. They would need to drastically reduce prices for it to work regularly. Also flying from London to US, particularly west coast, 8 times would suck.
Also did you hear the Steelers might be coming to Dublin in 2013/14, what with Dan Rooney being the Ambassador and all. Rumours everywhere about. Navy and Notre Dame are playing here in Sept.

Yeah the logistics are obviously an issue. Not sure how they could work around it. They would have to realign divisions for sure, and that upsets just about everyone no matter how you do it.
The best scenario would involve having an entire division in Europe, but that’s a little far-fetched at this point. I don’t even know if the market exists.
LA is definitely a better bet to get a team in the near future than London, for sure.
