The Texans won?
WHAT?
The Texans won?

Giants won and so did the Packers. Did you expect anything else? Of course not! Packers win when they need to and Giants win when the pressure is removed. For that TC needs to go. He is a really good coach but something has been missing and there is too much talent to have zero playoff wins since 07. Fox, chin, chucky, I don’t know. Maybe Coughlin comes back without an extension because of the uncertainty of next season. Either way lots of players need to be replaced.
The one weekend that I actually want the 49ers to lose, they go ahead and put up a monster showing. Go figure…
I’m going to agree with some of the rest of you and say that the Pats will win it all. Best coach and the best QB, that’s going to be pretty hard to stop.
Wooohh! What an exciting Sunday night game!! Who does everybody have winning the games next weekend? I say Saints, Packers, Ravens, Colts.
Jets - due to the Colts number of injuries, I just cant see them keeping it up.
Ravens- dont like the way the Chiefs ended the season and Weis leaving is fucking stupid
Saints- no brainer NFC West sucks balls and will for the next 3 years
Eagles- home field advantage only reason, heart goes with Packers, head goes with Eagles
Interesting matchups.
Bring on BLACK MONDAY. We should take bets on who gets fired first.
Do they fire John Fox? His contract is done do they really have to fire him?

Them going to the playoffs with a losing record is almost as much of a travesty as people defending fuucking idiots eating 4 days a week.
When I was a young kid, I loved the Seahawks. I had a Jim Zorn jersey and a Seahawks helmet. God they were awful. Zorn/Largent were awesome.
I never thought I’d see the day when teams with losing records make the playoffs (Playoffs??!!?). The whole NFC West needs to be demoted to AAA football.
All this shit talk about the Seahawks! It’s the first time in NFL history this has happened. Now everyone wants to change rules & shit. Look at how the yr un-wound. A lot of things were unusual. Lets not get our panties all twisted because of a anomaly.
As for first firing: Mangini.
Here is where my pessimistic ways come into play. I really wanted the Chiefs Sat. Peyton scares me. Doesn’t matter injuries or what-not, he has a way of finishing games.
Though I do like the way we played yesterday. Nice to see the def. step up. & even better is Brunell still has a little left in him. I believe I called that BTW.

Whoa, big boy! I haven’t heard anyone talking about rule changes! Who’s “everyone”?
^ A lot of football people are wanting to re-seed the playoffs. So teams that have losing records can’t host a playoff game.

Fucking Charlie Weis is gone God damn it! I am now praying we hire McDaniels to run the offense.
I’m really surprised by this move as it seems like he’s taking a worse job. The fact that he’s leaving before the Chiefs even make their playoff run is icing on the shady cake. Doesn’t anybody else find this to be extremely odd? Maybe something went on behind the scenes between him and Haley…

Everyone is the Guru’s on tv & some cats in here. All up in arms over a losing record in the playoffs. The fact of the matter is they won their division. As much as we moan & groan, it is what it is.
Thanks for calling me big boy btw.

Yea and this is only the fourth time a team with .500 or worse made the playoffs so it’s obviously a fucking anomaly. As a hawks fan I am pretty conflicted. Yes we made the playoffs and yes playing outdoors with home field adv. against a team like the Saints is about as much as we could hope for in terms of chances of a first round win. BUt, did we seriously just drop from 7 to 21 in the draft by winning ONE GAME?
^ Ouch yea winning that one game is a big drop. Sorry man but you dont have a snow balls chance in hell to beat the Saints. However as a Cowboys fan I would love to just have made the playoffs after a year like this year. Is Whitehurst the answer? Opening drive was pretty damn good.
I just dont know how I feel about this.
^I think Garrett is a good fit. He demands you pay attention to detail & seems to be just the kinda discipline that team needs.
I thought Whitehurst looked good too on the first drive. After that he stymied a bit. The only chance the Hawks have in winning Sat. is if the def. plays like it did last night but a little bit better. That O lone sucks! I know they’ve had a shitload of changes but they couldn’t move DJ’s newborn grandson back a yd.
LOL, I dont even think with 10 feet of snow on the field the Hawks can beat the Saints. Saints have a healthy backfield and TE’s. They mailed it in on Sunday against the Bucs. Williams will be blitzing the hell out of Whitehurst.
Damn Mangini the first to go. Where will he end up next. Who takes the Browns job? Gruden?
^Told ya’
Holmgren will take it himself.
^ Really I just dont see it but what the hell “Its good to be the King”
