Why is Prime-Time a dickbag? And I agree on his non-tackling/running from tackling attitude.
When he tones it down I like him, he knows the game and he doesen’t hold back. When he gets wound up(which they pay him to do) he seems to somehow someway turn it back to himself. “my BABIES” tee hee is getting old.

I would like to see Eisen do a whole hi-light show in his Chicago accent, that would be hilarious.

Could you imagine a game being called by Deion, Faulk and Irvin? It would be magic but you would have no idea whats going on in the game lol.

Enjoy Steelers fans…

FWIW, I caved on my NFL strike for the second Ravens/Steelers game like 6 weeks ago, and I hated myself for it at the time. But NOW I can’t fucking wait to see that cocksucker Goodell stand on the podium and hand Big Ben and James Harrison their 3rd Lombardi. Fuck that fucking fucker.

BJB, I told my buddy at half time that this would end up being a one score game. The Steelers have never had the ability to bury a good team when they have the chance. The defense loses its edge, and the offense gets too predictable. Luckily for them, the Jets made just enough mistakes in the second half to derail their comeback.

Prospects for the SB seem shaky. Pouncey almost definitely won’t play. If he does there’s no way he’s near even 80%. That was a nasty injury. I wouldn’t be surprised if his leg was really broken and they’re just not telling us.
Allright! your back, you break things down for the Steelers better that I does lol.

Pridictable is right, my friends and I were calling out plays before they happend in the second half. Mendy was a beast though and pounded the ball, no spinnerama shit. Even when the Jets KNEW Pittburgh was going to run it he hit the hole hard. He’s really grown up as a all around back this year, Cromartie is kucky Rashard slipped near the endzone or he was going to get run over.

After the comments from Ben after the Ravens game I just knew he was going to gamble and throw a couple to the other team. Defence bailed him out but that’s Steeler football and you have to go with the flow.

Losing Pouncy is huge, I don’t think they make hyperbaric chambers for big guys like him lol, he better be a fast healer. I really feel bad for that young man, he should be a conerstone for years to come.

OH YOU AINT KIDDING…if mendenall didnt slip it would of been real ugly! cromartie must of been shitting himself.

I was very impressed with Mendenhall, honestly the first few times I saw him I wasnt that impresses…but man he changed my mind in the first half yesterday.

Oh, I agree. I just thought he said something particularly stupid for you to mention his name.

Irvin and Sanders calm: I like them

Together and acting up: God, why?

Rod Woodson, no matter the situation: The Man

For many years after Rod Woodson left I could not utter his name without adding "that traderous bastard. I don’t even know if thats a real word lol, I was fucking bitter. Then when he said that he would go into Canton as a Steeler(kinda) I forgave him…kinda.

Woodson almost beat Darrel Green in an NFL’s fastest man competition back in his rookie year. Back when the players had fun in the off season. Nowadays everyones too paranoid to get hurt on these fun days, don’t blame them really. Those big guys on bicycles was awesome lol.

I have been trying to find video of Farrior’s hit on Greene with no success. If anyone knows where I can find it please let me know.

That was one of the greatest stops I’ve ever seen. I’m not really sure why Greene got mouthy after that. Maybe he was confused. I’m sure they were both seeing green spots after that collision.

I think Greene just like the contact. For all we know he was talking shit up to telling Farrior telling him ‘now that’s hittin’.’

If you look close you can see a chunk of gold something spinning in the air when it’s in slow-mo. I’ve been critical of Potsie in the past but he had a great year. That was a hit that should cement him as one of the best LB’s to ever where the B n’ G, he’s had a buch of those over the years.

Jets, keep Holmes and try to lowball Edwards. If you can only sign one I would pick Holmes, he is a head case though, no doubt about it.

What…The…Fuck!

SN, 7:10, wow.

Agreed. I can’t believe Sanders has the balls to call someone out on their toughness. He must have forgotten how much of a physical pussy he was in his playing days. Didn’t he miss like two seasons with turf toe?

Three of my friends went to the game…I haven’t heard from them…not good.
Let’s hope they made it out alive and not stuffed with all of those ‘terrible towels’ somewhere.

Side note: I just moved from NY to WI… Packer fans are CRAZY. Not in a bad way (sorry Eagle fans, you guys take the cake there), but as I’ve been able to watch more Packer games than most lately, it would be nice for Driver to get that ring.

Go Pack Go!

I finally did here from them…they said they had a great time. They also said that the Steeler fans were awesome and treated them great. It was good to hear. They did get into some altercation with a group of Steeler fans who were taking big time objection to them being there, and acting like assholes, another group of steeler fans went up to them and basically said thats not how Steeler fans are and act. They then invited them to their tailgate. So all in all my buddies have a lot of respect for the fans in Pitt.

with that being said…LETS GO STILLERS!

I know I have a jerome bettis jersey somewhere

What’s the deal with this guy, on paper he had an awesome supporting cast. Not that they could all get along, but how could he have such a bad year with those weapons. I didn’t see much of them so don’t know how good their line was, and he goes against Baltimore and Pitt 2x each. He doesn’t seem to be the same since that leg injury a few years back. Think he’ll retire like he said or tough it out?

I know I was joking myself, I also had many discussions with SSC in the College football thread. He follows college football more than NFL.
Don’t be so sure. I disappeared from the CF thread because work got crazy, I just couldn’t keep up. Kind of how most of the NFL thread went as well. But don’t worry, I bleed cheese and would definitely be one of those idiots without a shirt on in Lambeau in the negative degree weather had I the opportunity!

Its good to hear that there is still some civility among pro football fans

As i sit here in my own sick…Im disgusted at reading some of these comments…

first Ill take Phil Simms portrayal of a QB over any of you guys, Sanchez played excellent in the second half completing some very hard passes. How come no one is mentioning the pass play to braylon edwards where he was getting rushed he had to slip out of the pocket switch hands and complete a pass.

Yes WC and the Bears fan that pass play was awful…but you blame sanchez how bout you blame that asshat schottenheimer. Not for nothing Big Ben did the same fucking thing! The play where beans’ favorite player (smith) blocked a pass at the goal line, which would have been intercepted by Revis if he hadnt.

Sanchez went up and down the field in the second half sans any running game. you guys are blinded by your dislike for him. WC you can say he has a long way to go, I say he has come a long way. He got hammered in the first half and came right back…hes a tough kid. No one mentioned the late hit by Harrison when Sanchez gave himself up either.

Man, Big Ben was on the Jets EVERYONE would be screaming about how much he sucks but since he is on the real americas team its man that Big Ben, it aint pretty but he sure knows how to win! If Sanchez put up Ben’s numbers and won…it would be wow Sanchez blows, they won in spite of him.

SSC - what ny fans?..you seem like another ny hater…you would fit right in.

Wait lemme check and see if somebody bumped that stupid NY jet thread…you know to say the Jets can suck it and blah blah blah…talk is cheap and it sure is prevalent when the jets lose.
I can understand you being disgusted, I would be pretty upset too if my team just got knocked out, totally normal. To win it all though, your going to need a player to be pretty much perfect, and on the Jets that player needed to be Sanchez.

I agree, I would have run it three straight times on the goal line, but that wasn’t the call. Sanchez needed to get his team 6 points there, it’s as simple as that. He has come a long way, but if you want the Lombardi, he’s going to have to get that much better.

I like his character, I like his slight cockiness, and I’ll definitely be pulling for him. He’s going to have to be the one that puts the entire team on his shoulders and carries them all the way through, because you don’t have a RB, WR, or defense that’s going to do that.

ouch…thats a backhanded compliment lol. ^
