first Ill take Phil Simms portrayal of a QB over any of you guys, Sanchez played excellent in the second half completing some very hard passes. How come no one is mentioning the pass play to braylon edwards where he was getting rushed he had to slip out of the pocket switch hands and complete a pass.
Yes WC and the Bears fan that pass play was awful…but you blame sanchez how bout you blame that asshat schottenheimer. Not for nothing Big Ben did the same fucking thing! The play where beans’ favorite player (smith) blocked a pass at the goal line, which would have been intercepted by Revis if he hadnt.
Sanchez went up and down the field in the second half sans any running game. you guys are blinded by your dislike for him. WC you can say he has a long way to go, I say he has come a long way. He got hammered in the first half and came right back…hes a tough kid. No one mentioned the late hit by Harrison when Sanchez gave himself up either.
Man, Big Ben was on the Jets EVERYONE would be screaming about how much he sucks but since he is on the real americas team its man that Big Ben, it aint pretty but he sure knows how to win! If Sanchez put up Ben’s numbers and won…it would be wow Sanchez blows, they won in spite of him.
SSC - what ny fans?..you seem like another ny hater…you would fit right in.
Wait lemme check and see if somebody bumped that stupid NY jet thread…you know to say the Jets can suck it and blah blah blah…talk is cheap and it sure is prevalent when the jets lose.
AMEN Brother!! & to brother Sanchez… I’m thinkin bout having Mexican for dinner tonight as a thank you. What do you think?

The Chief is up there smiling puffing on a big ol’ cigar today!
Heart attack game, check
O-Lineman injury, check
Horseshoe up BB ass, check
Prevent defence almost costs victory, check.
No doubt the Jets could have won this game. Sanchez is pretty good, he took a few big shots but there was no crying to the refs from what I saw, tough dude.
Roethlisberger’s QB rating was awfull but he made the throws when the team needed him and his recievers saved his ass on a couple. He’s going to have a massive bruise on his hip from that charlie horse he got in the first quarter too, that must have hurt the whole game lol.
Mendy!
Miller!
Game called by the zebras was allright, they had to get the pass interferance shit under control early for both teams, pretty clean game I thought. If anything I thought the Steelers got a couple favourable spots.
SB in the JJ’s cathedral is going to be amazing eye candy.
I don’t like the match-up in the Super Bowl for the Steelers, shitting my pants…check.
It would have to be a pass rusher as the first priority. Also alot depends on who they dont resign, I believe Edwards, Holmes, Harris, Brad Smith and Cromartie are FAs. They wont be able to sign all of em, if it was up to me Harris is a definitely has to be resigned as well as holmes. It would come down to who they resign if they resign cromartie and let Edwards walk they all of a sudden become real thin at receiver.
I think Joe Mcknight will get a real chance to prove his worth next year. Their D Line is getting real old in the tooth. Shaun Ellis is entering his 12 th year, Trevor Pryce is ancient, Devito and Pouha played excellent this year, but are truly backups.
In all honesty The Jets may take a step back next year, they were a win now team
So D line and LB are priorities and maybe receiver…if the jets somehow got a consistent pass rush it would turn a good defense into a borderline great one.
I’m an Eagles fan, I know all about losing big games. The Jets are a good team and no one should complain about making it so far. Trust me, we lost a ton of championship games. Probably more than anyone hah.
It must be fun being a Steeler fan…I was looking at the crowd yesterday that looked intense! Three of my friends went to the game…I havent heard from them…not good.

McNight has been a bust so far, still could turn it around. If Sexy Rex is wanting to stay long term, he better start building through the draft and not going the hired gun approach. That keeps you old and falling short.
McKnight is a stud. He just hasn’t matured yet. Give him a yr to grow & he’ll scorch defenses.
All of what Matty says is correct. I wouldn’t let Edwards go though. I also think Mike T has a way w/numbers. He just might be able to pull strings & keep those guys. I would LOVE to see them draft a pass rusher. A legitimate pass rusher.
I’d also ask LT to stay on one more yr. He was productive, & I’d like for him to get one more shot at the ring.
JBJ - thanks bro, I would of happily accepted this flu for a jet win. Ill be pulling for the steelers for you, (that may be a bad thing, tho lol)
Print - you really want LT for another year? albeit in a much lesser role I would be ok with that too. I also like lt, he seems like a good guy, I always say for a football team to be good you have to have few asshole types on your team you cant all be gentlemen. In the case of the jets we have enough assholes, we need a few more gentlemen.
^ Only thing that is being reported is MCL tear, I want to know what Grade of tear. If it is Grade I or II he could have played. If it is Grade III then it is totally torn, BUT his ass would not be standing on sidelines and not getting treatment. He would be on his ass with his leg up. Dude needs to get the sand out of his Vagina.

Prime-time is a dickbag, he was tough in his day…in a no tackling/running from tackling kind of way.
Why is Prime-Time a dickbag? And I agree on his non-tackling/running from tackling attitude.
FWIW, I caved on my NFL strike for the second Ravens/Steelers game like 6 weeks ago, and I hated myself for it at the time. But NOW I can’t fucking wait to see that cocksucker Goodell stand on the podium and hand Big Ben and James Harrison their 3rd Lombardi. Fuck that fucking fucker.
BJB, I told my buddy at half time that this would end up being a one score game. The Steelers have never had the ability to bury a good team when they have the chance. The defense loses its edge, and the offense gets too predictable. Luckily for them, the Jets made just enough mistakes in the second half to derail their comeback.
Prospects for the SB seem shaky. Pouncey almost definitely won’t play. If he does there’s no way he’s near even 80%. That was a nasty injury. I wouldn’t be surprised if his leg was really broken and they’re just not telling us.
