I’m pretty fucking tickled at either outcome of the NFC to be honest.
That the NFC North is exclusively in the championship game, as well as being life-long bitter rivals is pretty sweet. NFC East can suckit! Two years in a row that’s all we hear about are the NFC East teams all pre-season and neither make the championship game.
That being said, I’m pulling for GB. They’ve had the biggest amount of adversity sans a running game most of the year and their defense was built to handle Chicago/Minnesota’s running game/pasing attack. Lets see if Hawk and Matthews and that enormous defensive line can do what they were built to do.
AFC?
Terrible Towels got this one. Pitts D over-powers the Jets Offense six ways from Sunday and they hit hard. If they blow up Sanchez only half as much as they got to Flacco last week we’re in for a very one-sided contest.

BRAD WTF man where have you been?
Yes the NFC east will be in a down couple of years, but we will be back.

Man, just as I was starting to like him. At least Clay is a man, he has become one of my favorite players. I would hate to see him walk past some old cancer patient like Barry Bonds or Mo Vaughn

It’s become like the South Park episode with Michael Jackson. I am sure every reporter there was waiting for body parts to start falling/melting off.

Jets and Packers in SB. Both games will be close and probably decided by a field goal.
Your half right…

When did you become a bears fan…
It’s a toss up and I have to pick somebody so Bearsh it is. I’m hoping it’s not a shootout, I’d rather see a close game with a few really great throws by both QB’s than a track meet all day. I enjoy watching a long run by a RB than a WR with big yac for some reason. And Gayle Sayers is my favorite RB.
I’m very worried about the Jet Stiller game this weekend. Not because of Harrison or Ward, or Big Ben or Farrior or Polomalu. Im worried because I think the Jets are gonna win…FUCK! Im actually confident in them this week.
Seriously tho, I dont think youll see a letdown, one game to the SB should keep them amped up. That should make up for the lovefest that has been going between the two coaches. It makes the Jets Pats rivalry even more genuine IMO as the hate was specifically reserved for them.
I was wondering this last week, while watching the Jet Pat game. We all know that a defensive player cannot lead with a helmet. But why is an offensive player given card blanche with leading with his helmet? Danny woodhead doesent even look straight ahead when he is running, he puts his head so low hes like a torpedo. Now I understand the defenseless receiver aspect, but it should be looked at both ways.
well the defense should see the guy coming… most of the big hits the offensive player is looking at the ball or away from incoming traffic… very rarely do u see a rb or wr trucking a defensive player that looking in the opposite direction… one thing u do get is big blocks a la ward… ward loves trucking guys on running plays esp the safeties
Interesting read Beans. I hated Montana back in the day cause he would beat the Cowboys, he didnt bother me when he went to Kansas City. I have refrained about saying anything about Big Ben out of respect for BJB on here.

God did I hate all the cowboys growing up, lol. Now, I’m not as retarded. Particularly after talking to a couple guys that play in the NFL, it just isn’t right to hate on someone. I mean route against, but hateraid sipping is just… wrong.
anywho.
RE: the question last thread as to if Brady would play with a broken nose like Big Ben did earlier this year. Please see Brady’s foot surgery yesterday. Dude played half a year on a broken foot. So yeah, he would play with a busted up snozz.
So haha, Boston fans suck so much balls. They won’t even begin to talk about the rest of the playoffs yet. Jackasses. I hope the Jets fucking pwn and win. Hope it will light the fire under the Pats D’s and O line’s ass and they will come out with a “chip on their shoulder” next year.
And you were right about BB drafting O and D line. The unsexy positions. It is where it all begins and ends.
