Maybe. But I have a little confidence in me too. Not sure how to handle that. W/the addition of Troy & Miller playing Sun. does give me a bit of concern.

Heard Bettis this morning making a good point. Since we beat them a few weeks ago, they’ll come out Sun. w/a whole new game plan. Similar to what we did against the Patz. That has me VERY concerned.

Matty!? I thought you might’ve been caught up in one of the mob busts. Ya’ Guinea you…

^ Everyone I listen to is pretty much split on who will take this game. Only thing I will say is that if the Ravens didnt fuck up in the second half they would have beat the Steelers. Yes the Ravens fucked up, I watched that whole game. The steelers took advantage of the opportunities like a great team does. But the football gods were smiling on the Steelers that day. If the Jets play sound football they can win this game. Sorry BJB just the way I feel and in the grand scheme of life doesnt mean much.

Steelers 21
Jets 24

LOL…nah but my favorite Italian deli has been closed for the past week…hmmmmm.

This game is going to come down to the Jet Oline keeping Sanchez in one piece and giving him time to throw easy passes. I believe in Sanchezes scrambling ability and he makes things happen when he does same. I would be very surprised if either team ran the ball well. Its gonna come down to the QB’s and the Oline. With the Steelers tackles all out, I believe we will get to him and hopefully make big ben try and be a hero.

Jets 19 Stillers 14

I cant believe I just did that.

I get a funny feeling about cutler going off in the Bears game…I used to think the guy was a douche but he is an underrated douche and a douche that I am rooting for. I think the game is going to be surprisingly low scoring and special teams will spell the packers doom.

Bears 20 Packers 17

Your going to look at 0-2 with those picks.
Cutler can’t put 20 up against that D, and (the only real) A Rod is on fire.
Jets Steelers is a head scratcher. The coordinators choice of game plan is going to call this one, or turnovers.

Matty you want the Bears to win so it can be Jets winning the SB.

dubya

Cutler maybe not, but devin hester will score a TD on special teams. Cutler will be able to able muster up one long TD to knox and some decent field position for field goals to a extremely accurate FG kicker in Gould. 20 pts is not that ridiculous to imagine. So I have cutler for 13 pts in reality.

Real Arod? I guess that is a yankee jab…Ill wait for the baseball thread to argue with you about that one

I would LOVE to face the Packers again…if the Jets win a superbowl I do not want to hear any jet, rex ryan, mark sanchez haters placing a big “but” or “if” if they win. So Manning check, Brady check, Roethelsburger hopefully check and would love for a big check next to rodgers as well

I think God may be a Bears fan tho

What can I say, smart people think alike I guess.

Interesting read Beans. I hated Montana back in the day cause he would beat the Cowboys, he didnt bother me when he went to Kansas City. I have refrained about saying anything about Big Ben out of respect for BJB on here. [/quote]

Appreciate that DJ, I’ll admit he’s a degenerate but he seems to have matured since the whole thing went down. My2c, the girl was being a cuddle slut and he was being a spoiled douche bag.

That was a good article. I hate TB because he guts my team, no more no less. Back in the seventies I hated Drew Pearson and Roger Staubach because they gutted my team, no more no less…and so on and son lol.

The guy I hate this week is the whole defensive backfield for the Jets. Ben is going to gamble and those guys are going to be ready and I’m shitting my pants.

HAHA!

How do poeple come up with this shit?

IMO, the total yards by each team tell a different story. The Steelers tryed to give the game away in the first half and the Ravens gave it back plus some in the second half. IIRC, the Steelers had about 300 total yards to the Ravens 150 or so.

Should be a great game with the Jets.

He forgot “Dick Butkis”

^ Steely since our teams our out of the playoffs, do you watch the East-West shrine game? I get into the draft mode as soon as the Boys our out. Mocks have us taking the kid from Nebraska at the 9th pick. What are the Eagles going to do?

^ DJ you talking about Prince? I would be pretty happy about that.

^ yea man I was not going to try his last name, I had forgot his first name. Watched that kid this year 6’ and 205 perfect size for a physical corner. Which is what we need. First and formost is a Safety though. Sens is fine but have to have a compliment total safety. Lets just hope Rob has some ability to scout also.

Yea, as long as they are drafting for the secondary I am happy, Peterson out of LSU and Prince were the guys I was hoping for. Any solid safeties in the draft? After Berry last year I haven’t heard much.

The safeties are pretty weak this year, the top rated one by Scouts Inc. is Rahim More from UCLA coming in with an overall grade of 88. Quinton Carter (81) and Robert Sands (80) are the next up after him, so you can see how quickly the talent drops. Sands hits like a beast though.
