I like Sparano and I think really he is the best fit there. Vinnie they need a QB plain and simple, trick plays and offense can only take you so far.

It kind of seems like MIAmi might be hedging their bets. Trying to hold onto Sparano and not lose his loyalty til they know they have something lined up. They may be trying to woo Cowher behind the scenes, hoping they wont need to fire anyone other than him

I know what you mean about the latin pop stars and old drunk white bar singers, but yes on the field is what I was thinking about. So is Revis and Cromartie healthy and ready? They are going to be tested by Peyton this weekend.
I think the entire team is rested. Revis on Wayne & Cro on Garcon. If the def line can stop the run, I think we can have success. Same w/the O, the O-line has got to get the running game in full steam ahead mode.
As for Danny boy thinking Rex is being I downer, I disagree. & even if he was, that entire team outside of Cro & LT were here last yr. That will come into play. They realize just how close they were. & I’m hoping that in itself w/spark a nice 4 game run…
Told you guys Harbaugh to the Oak… Don’t say it won’t happen. Money washes away a lot of doubt. I also think (sorry WC) that Oak actually has more talent across the board than SF.
^Anyhow that is all speculation of course. I hope for WC’s sake he does go to SF.

Ditto that. I also think this year was a bit of a statistical anomaly for the Dolphins. I mean how often does a team play nearly .500 beat some TOUGH teams on the road and fail to win a single home game. I dont think the dolphins are as good as the Pats or the Jets, ut I think they will be right on their heels forcing them to keep winning eleven+ games.\
7-9 gets you a divsion championship over here on the west coast

Inside the circles of the NFL, Al seems to command alot of respect. I agree that a former relationship, offer of relatively free rein and a boatload of money might be enough to keep Harbaugh in the bay area as something other than a 49er.
Jets have the same problem with stopping the pass rush. The big guys for the Colts have been clogging up the middle well enough that the terrible two on the ends have started getting to the QB. The last thing the Jets want is Freeney and Mathis spinning off and forcing Sanchez into making tough calls.
I also think when people say they were playing for a spot it doesnt matter. They stepped it up to make the ps to win the superbowl, not lose their first playoff game. The Colts having played for their live the last 4 weeks does not mean that they are the only ones going home if they lose this weekend.
I would love to see Al Davis hire the chin lol. If there is one coach out there that big Al would heel to it would be Cower, never happen but it would be awesome.
Brett Favre still in the news with new aligations from women. He should hide untill he’s eligable for Canton in five years.

Harbaugh’s meeting with niners today.
Boner!
EDIT: Apparently the Dolphins have laid an offer on the table that would make Harbaugh the highest paid coach in the NFL. Fuckass.
& I heard this morning that VY would be his starter.
Ill wait to see him holding up the jersey at a conference to believe that one. Seriously though, if the guy cant respect Jeff Fisher, one of what seems like the coolest coaches in the NFL, and definitely an all time great, who would even want him as a starter. Harbaugh to Miami would be nice though. If that fucker is coming to the NFL I want him as far from the NFC west as possible.
^He isn’t going there. I just made it up to stir the pot… Though you never know!
I think Harbaugh is going to SF or Mich. Can’t see him in Mia. Though would make things interesting if the other Ryan got a shot somewhere in the AFC. Imagine those games, Ryan v Ryan & Harbaugh v Harbaugh.
As much as I like Mcdaniels attitude and coaching philosophy, He seemed to genuinely alienate himself from both coaches and players. Thats a big nono, maybe the only definite no no. Ya know other than never bang the owners wife/daughter, unless you are Phil Jackson
I really want to know what Harbaugh has done that makes him qualified to be the highest paid coach in the NFL? I understand he took a 1-xx Stanford team to a bowl game and likely #3 ranking in COLLEGE but I just don’t think the college game and pro’s are the same. Sure he deserves a job in the pro’s but come on man, getting paid more than all the proven coaches, I can’t see it. Then again we’re talking about Miami…Redskins south.

So ridiculous. If we don’t get Harbaugh, I’m going to sell my NFL allegiance on eBay.
STAY ON THE WEST COAST JIM!
Niners need a Bill Walsh clone lol. They already had a nutcase so now they need to find a more level headed HC. McDanials is too hyper, so is Harbaugh so I’m not sure I would want him either.
