And yes for some incredibly hard to understand reason he’s not been very good in short yardage situations.
It’s because he runs “tall” and doesn’t avoid contact.
It is the same reason the dude won’t last very much longer. He runs standing straight up rather than getting low, and doesn’t avoid contact.
He is no walter Payton, so he needs to stop acting like it’s 1975 and he can run over LB’s and SS’s and not pay the toll.
Yes he’s too upright but it’s more than that though. He runs into the backs of his O line because they get zero push at the point of the attack. Also when anyone is near his feet it’s like there’s an invisible rope that he trips over. I’ve seen hime get low and crush people so the fact that he doesn’t do it all the time leads me to think there could be some poor coaching involved too.
As a Cowboys fan I feared Bradshaw more than Jacobs, he had that one good year. But the dude has been pounded in the knees for how many years now. He is at the age of diminishing returns in my opinion. Trade his ass to Buffalo and like Matty said pick up another back in the draft.
RB’s of old are no longer a necessity in the NFL the QB position is #1. I mean look at the leagues leading rusher dude was an undrafted FA.
Vinnie I could see Cowher there a lot of his type of team is in place, but they still have a Sparano right or did they fire him?
Strungout dude you have to be a happy fucker, the Raiders fucked up again. Al davis for village idiot
WC Al Davis is trying to get Harbaugh do the world a favor and pay someone to kill Al.
I know what you mean about the latin pop stars and old drunk white bar singers, but yes on the field is what I was thinking about. So is Revis and Cromartie healthy and ready? They are going to be tested by Peyton this weekend.

I hear you and your right, he just pisses me off so much. Everyone is shitting on Bradshaw and his fumbling, but honestly most of his fumbles came on second efforts and Ahmad trying too hard. In all seriousness, they do form a pretty good combo, its just him, I used to love him but got real turned off when he started belly aching when he lost his starting gig.
I only saw the Giants a couple times this year. It seemed like Jacobs was trying to cut out instead of running down the middle and over people, as is his success. I assumed he had become bitchmade and didnt want to take that punishment, but thats what he does. Maybe I am wrong but When I watched them i KEpt thinking what is this giant mf doing NOT running str8 over people.

I dont think so. The Colts have finally started moving the ball the and getting to the QB again the last couple of weeks. As much as I like the guy I think Ryan shoy himself in the foot again. He has been so great at motivating his team, but now saying shit like “I’ll manage to beat Peyton one day”. I kind of think the Jets go as Rexs ego goes and it seems to be deflating pretty \fast.
sparano stays for now… but looking for an upgrade… thing is mia wants to keep ireland and nolan (nolan i like ireland has been hit or miss in the draft)

Now we are in the playoffs, the Jets backed in last year and then turned it on. The Colts are banged up all to hell, first time since his rookie year Peyton has looked flustered on the field. The guy is throwing to a lot of no names that could hurt him down the stretch. The Colts have been playing for there lives the last 4 games also just to get into the playoffs. I just dont know if they can keep it up.

It looks like Hue Jackson will be taking over in Oakland. No way in hell Harbaugh goes there.
I was just talking to a safety guy about that, Harbaugh played in the NFL and he is not a fucking idiot. I agree he will not coach Oakland, but Harbaugh is going to get a SHIT ton of money thrown at him right now. You just never know what some people will do, EVERYONE said that no way in Hell Bill Parcels would coach in Dallas.
