Just checking. Carry on.

Here’s the bottom-line. The most successful coaches in the NFL are typically over-achieving drivers that have a no bullshit approach to the game and their players. Belichick, Cowher, Parcells, and though not quite as much success yet as the others mentioned…Coughlin.

And then you have Wade Phillips…

I rest my case.

I don’t thing Gibbs was a driver. Maybe over-achieving, but by know means a hard ass. Neither was Bill Walsh. They both won multiple SB’s w/out pulling a Parcells/Cowher/Couglin type attitude.

& both were not only liked but were given great respect.

I’m pickin’ the Jets to demolish the Stillers. No doubt in my mind. Big Benji will have more than a broken nose, he will have a broken face. We will not be satisfied or bask in our glory until every last follicle of Palmolives hair is out!

TAKE THAT TO THE BANK MOTHAFUCKERS!
The Jets have never won there. Never.

he already has one beans…im sure you remember. The guy was amazing with Jacksonville taking them to two afc titles as an upstart org.

I think its David Diehl who married his daughter.
Chris Snee the RG married his daughter. He knocked her up @ Boston College so the old man drafted his ass. Talk about a shotgun wedding. I own you son, now do the right thing.

HA HA HA …awesome!

Haha! That’s some funny shit.

This thread on page 2? I don’t fucking think so.

Stupid 49ers. Take the fucking 3 points.

I was just about to mention their O line looks pretty good, and then they let a 230lbs bruiser of a back get stuffed for a loss of 3 on 4th and inches.

Jesus H fucking Christ.

Why is ALex smith in?

I am beginning my plan to hunt down Matt Schaub and dry hump him until next season. Look for me as tailback next game

I’m all for the Chargers whooping ass, but what a boring ass game. The 49ers can’t be this bad, can they?

It’s not THAT bad, but I hear ya. It is certainly an asswhooping, and the 9ers are no Buffalo or Houston.

WTF is wrong with your team WC? They should be better than this.

Alex Smith is tha suckz

BILLY VOLEK!

This might be a taste of what is to come for the other primetime games this week. With Rodgers probably not playing, the Pack will probably get stomped. That plus the Vikings might have to start who knows at QB on Monday night.

Then next Thursday Carolina at Pittsburgh, oh boy.

That’s some schedule. Don’t forget Dallas @ Arizona on Christmas. They could have flexed Giants/Eagles to Sunday night but who wants to see that lame matchup?

haha, dude that is twice on this page you’ve made me laugh.

At least the cowboys are one of those “nothing to lose” teams, so you see some pretty loose play and sometimes some dumb trickery…

Fuck it, as long as the 9ers aren’t on primetime we should be good.

Ah man give me a break, this is probably the only Christmas present I will get is a sure win for Dallas. I do agree though the Giants/Eagles should have been flexed here. That game has NFC east division champ implications. Can both teams lose? Maybe a tie to really fuck things up.

I also dont really think Bellichick belongs in the same category as parcells and Cowher and number one crazy of all time Jon Gruden. Belichick is almost the definition of restraint. Not saying he isnt intense, he just doesnt lead his team with fire and brimstone like these other guys do.
Shanahan and Reid both spring to mind as more middle of the road type guys when it comes to their intnsity with great success.
I’m from Seattle and over here, while only time will tell, Carroll has definetely changed the mentality of the team with his positive rah-rah-rah attitude.

I agree with this.

Singletary is a fire and brimstone and you will respect me. How is that working out? I bet WC would gladly take somebody else.

As much as I shouldnt be, I have always liked San Fran, so I am still rooting for singletary a bit. I also dont know how often they get broadcast nationally, but they lost 3 or 4 really close games to very good teams that could have gone either way, so besides Alex Smith they really arent that bad. Last night def. didnt help Mikes chance of retaining his job after the season. My worst case scen. right now is Mike gets fired they hire Harbaugh, he trades up to ensure picking Luck and they have a Rams like turnaround next year.

^ Dont get me wrong I love the fire that Singletary has, however you are trying to lead grown men. I have heard a lot of X players talk abou this type of method gets old also. I think that is why Bill leads the Pats well, (hate to admit it) he keeps the media at bay and handles his stuff in house. Nobody knows what style he uses to motivate/inspire/reprimand etc. When the players finally get fed up with the fire and brimstone the team starts making little mental mistakes that cost games.
