Giants play the Skins this week. I was given tickets to this one and had to give them away to someone else. Oh the horror!! Actual physical pain and severe mental anguish.

Anyway, I’m glad it’s the skins this week since they are banged up too. And they always seem to come around when we need a win most. Although I’m not thrilled about facing McSoup.
The worse thing about this game is that they can’t both lose.

LOL @ “McSoup”.

well even when he’s healthy it seems like garrad was targeting mike thomas much more… i think teams just started putting coverage more so on sims walker’s side… thus opening up things for mike thomas…

Wes Welker is going to be a tough matchup for the Jets. They tend to do very well against the big WRs and not as well against the small shifty guys. Jets have the better surronding cast but my money is on BB and Brady over Rex and Sanchez. Pats are at home and have a great record when they have extra time to prepare.
Wilba I sure as hell hope this is the case, I have Welker in both my fantasy teams.

So he can get 10 catches with two touchdowns in a loss to the Jets. The all will be right in the world. Who do the Giants play this week?
So the Giants at home with injuries and the skins this year have been all over the map. Ill take the Giants by 4 they are in a desperate need of a push to finish the season. I am really afraid that there will be only one team out of the NFC east this year in the playoffs. I hope I am wrong but just not a good season for our division.

^ we’ll see. I think Tampa will fade from the wild card pack. My Giants can make it happen by taking down philthy and green bay. They need to win one of those games to get in. But that’s getting ahead of things. Need to beat the skins this weekend.

Jim Leonard out for the year with a broken leg - in practice. Again with the injuries. And on a Friday afternoon to boot. Ridiculous.

Jim leonard … out for the year…ouch…this is a big hit for gang green

jinx!

Ha! I was just reading that he is the guy that lines up the D. That is a blow. Injuries are the worst part of being an NFL fan. Well besides the dog killer being allowed to play of course.

x2…and they will be going to 18 games! Time to double the roster size. Admittedly I am all for it, cuz im a sick fan, but man these players drop like flies already!

Losing Leonard also hurts special teams, he returns punts and is pretty steady.

That is a huge loss for that unit in terms of command. He was the director of that defense so I would expect some growing pains as they transition to Eric Smith. On the flip side Leonard was pretty horrible in coverage and will be replaced on returns by Cromartie who definitely has some skills.

Also, a funny quote in regards to the injury:

“Leonard suffered the injury in a practice collision with WR Patrick Turner in what will probably go down as the biggest impact play of Turner’s career.”

So I know you all won’t care as much as I do BUTTTTttt I am in owners box this weekend for away game. January 2 I am end zone 2nd row. Watch for the me ladies!!! Woooooooooottttt

^No ladies post in here pal. However I will be looking for you w/bells on.

As for Leonhard’s injury, outside of calling signals it won’t drop off as much as people think. Smith is a faster, bigger, hitter, & I believe at one time a candidate for a Rhodes Scholar thing. He’s smart, lets hope he things come naturally back there for him.

Kyle Wilson can also return punts.

Nice! How’d u score those? Give Daniel Snyder a smack in the Head!

I just seem to have made friends with the right people right now. I’m pretty excited to watch some physical football on Sunday. Too bad I seriously doubt this will go in the ‘W’ column… haha

These NFL Network announcers are awful.

I’m not able to stream in Merrill Reese, the Eagles announcer, who is fucking AWESOME.
I can tune the announcers out most of the time but yeah, Joe T is brutal, master of the obvious.

Gruden and Jaws are awfull.

The dude I can’t stand the most is Fran Charles, he feels he has to inflect EveRy SIngLE FUckING SYllaBle.

I have no idea how Michael Irvin got hired. Radio yes, TV no.

WC? Just throwin this out there- Cam Newton accounted for 6 touchdowns today. That’s more than the 49’ers have scored in the last 4 games.

After watching the SEC championship today I am even more convinced he’ll tear the NFL up.

He’s definitely a beast, loves the game, and is fun to watch. I’m just hesitant because the NFL is a pocket passing league (exception Michael Vick).

If we took him I’d embrace it fully, but I’d prefer Luck or a veteran QB (Kolb) instead.

He’s a stud though, there’s no way around that.

Cam Newton kicks ass.

Future NFL Hall of Famer. You heard it here first.

Something for you boys to chew on while watching games today.

As some/many might know, P Manning was rated number 8 in the 100 greatest players NFL show. Found this to be very interesting.

Post season stats-

Manning- 8-8 record, 87.4 qb rating, 26 td’s, 17 int’s.

McNabb- 9-7 record 80.0 qb rating, 24 td’s, 17 int’s.

pretty similar, wouldn’t you say? & no one has ever considered McNabb one of the greatest to play the game. He’s not even on the top 100 list!!!

So w/that being said, I think he’ll blow away the Giants today. 340 yds passing w/3 touchdowns.
