What makes the Jets def. what it is, is not the players, it’s the scheme. We don’t need pass rushers. Though I think by signing Taylor they were getting one. As for the Gholston, if Rex sees something in him than I believe it will show soon enough. Does it help to have the 2 best corners in the league? Well of course it does. You have to remember to that Jenkins was out considerably earlier than last yr. He demanded a double team in which the ends were one on one…
He’s a good pup 007. & you’re exactly right, he’s burning holes into the tennis ball he’s staring at.

hmm i thought DE’s don’t get much of a push in a 3-4 def anyways? OLB’s should be getting most of the sacks… ghoulston is what is hurting u guys… def nothing like he was in college… i think he has 0 sacks this year… old man JT has 4
Losing Jenkins had a domino affect I suspect for the whole Jets D line, dominant NT’s like him are few and far between. Your right about the DE’s in a 3-4, their primary goal is to occupy the O’linemen and plug running lanes so the LB’s can get to the QB. However when they(DE) do get to the QB it’s beutifull thing lol.

And when you look at when Rex was running the D at Baltimore they had one Pass Rusher but the rest of it was coming from all over the field. I think that is what makes Rex’s D so dominating is his ability to just create chaos. Not like the traditional 3-4 where you have an DeMarcus Ware or Harrison.
Joe Theisman is the worst. There is a reason ESPN dropped him from their broadcasting team when they did Sunday night football. It seems like he says something stupid or interups the play by play announcer.
Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined myself cheering for the Raiders, but this week I’ll be doing just that. So here goes nothing… GO RAIDERS! Reckon the Chargers will rape them though.
@ of the biggest match-ups of the yr & we’re talkin’ RAIDER football?
Balt v Pit
NYJ v N.E.
C’mon boys lets get together.
& not to mention… The SEC championship game. Good football this weekend. Let’s leave the Left coast out of this until one of them has a winning record.

The Texans disapoint once again.
X 2. Theisman is one of those know-it-all guys, he will fucking make comments on DE players. Last time I checked he was crushed by a DE/OLB and should not say shit. You want to comment on how a QB is doing great, offensive schemes great, but other STFU.
I like Bob Papa I listen to him every morning on way to work, Joe got to go.
And I say it again, the Texans need a defense if they ever want to get over the hump. Picture just for Print.

i can’t stand where this thread is going… all this talk about the chargers and the raiders… they should just make their own westcoast thread…
/sarcasm
Maybe we will, than what, this will just be a place filled with ugly pale east coasters who actually get to root for good football teams, I mean come on, how fun could that be?

Still one of the best looking dogs I’ve ever seen. I wonder if that was his house dog? Looks well groomed & well fed. Almost looks like a stuffed animal.

Hell I vote for talking about Texas football, only place that matters anyway.
Well not really since we suck this year. The East coast has better records this year nothing we can do about it. I always find it amazing we dont ever talk about some teams. Jags, Seattle, Rams and the Raiders.

with that said the jags are actually doing much better than i expected… from last year i thought sims-walker would be more of an impact tho…
He has been hurt, he is one of my FF players.
I like Del-Rio and what he is trying to do there, small market is hard competing against the “U”.

Wes Welker is going to be a tough matchup for the Jets. They tend to do very well against the big WRs and not as well against the small shifty guys. Jets have the better surronding cast but my money is on BB and Brady over Rex and Sanchez. Pats are at home and have a great record when they have extra time to prepare.
Wilba I sure as hell hope this is the case, I have Welker in both my fantasy teams.
So he can get 10 catches with two touchdowns in a loss to the Jets. The all will be right in the world. Who do the Giants play this week?
Giants play the Skins this week. I was given tickets to this one and had to give them away to someone else. Oh the horror!! Actual physical pain and severe mental anguish.
Anyway, I’m glad it’s the skins this week since they are banged up too. And they always seem to come around when we need a win most. Although I’m not thrilled about facing McSoup.
