Getting heavy in here…why can’t the Steelers have some of these?

Ravens vs Steelers: Smart pick Ravens…heart pick Steelers,

Jets vs Pats: Smart pick JETS…heart pick Jets.

Falcons vs Bucs: Smart pick Falcons…heart pick Bucs.

Every year is about that little spark of luck and I just think the Pats have out played there talent due to Bill’s coaching and brady’s abilities.

That is an understatement.

I mean QB is the only position the Pats have teh advantage. OL is a push and coaching I gotta say is a push at this point too. Rex has prevented any bullshit to blow up the locker room and has those guys playing very inspired football. They would have lost all those close games if it weren’t for them coming together as a team.

Maybe TE is a push too, but not really.

There is an outside chance the Pats of 2010 are like 2001-2004 and not overachievers, just underrated and well coached/prepared/disciplined, but I mean come on… SO many practice squad guys starting, lol…

Even as a fan I can’t find it to believe they don’t drop their first home game in 25…

^ I think the Browns game was very telling or maybe its just something about the Ryan connection.

I would rather have an overachiever than the shit I have had to deal with this year. Believe that.

I’m happy the Browns game happened. Now Bill can show that film every Thursday before meetings to piss them off.

All those guys have too much pride to watch themselves get whooped like that.

But pride isn’t going to beat the Jets. Having 2 safeties who you never know are going to perform and having a Rookie as your one reliable corner is going to get the torched Monday.

What kind of pass rush do the Pats have this year? Are they getting pressure with 4 or do they have to Blitz?

Pats are 16 - 1 in home games in December…the last time they lost, 2002 to the NY JETS!

Now that probably means nothing, just worth noting.

Depends on how well the other team runs, their line and the game plan.

They don’t blitz well often. The Pitt game was an aberration.

Pass rush is okay, better than last year, but not good.

I have only caught highlights of the Pats games, just the opinions of a few respected guys I listen to have given their input on the Pats.

I know the Pats have not ever really had the high profile pash rusher type anyway. But not getting pressure on the QB with a young secondary can get your ass smoked.

Tom Brady is a surgeon against Pittsburgh, always has. He let them win one a few years back to break a streak but thats about it. Their passing attack against Lebeaus 3-4 is a perfect match for the Pats which give makes me visisbly ill.

I hate Tom Brady…the guy is awesome.

Nothing irks me more than this shit, outside of defensive players down by 2 or more scores dancing after a sack. “Hey fuckhead, you have been torched for 300+ yards and 32 points, stop fucking dancing because you made ONE GOOD PLAY on second down.”

But yeah, anyone bitching about calls annoys me. Good teams play well enough to overcome shitty officials.

^ I kind of understand to a point of trying to get your team fired up and the crowd into the game with some of the show boating after a good play. But you are getting your ass kicked and its 1st and 10 on there 20 just fucking stupid. They all bitch about plays, some are just more subtle about it. And lets face it the camera is always on the QB, its not like they concentrate on the the nose guard and center between plays.

Beans, Junior Seau was the worst imo.

What’s changed, to me anyway is HOW they celebrate. Make a big play(defence) and freak out with your teamates is okay but now they run ten yards away from everyone else and make a muscle pose or something. Now it’s hey look at me ONLY and not the nose tackle who took on three lineman to get you that free unabated to the QB sack…for which you will get a fine. Sorry couldn’t resist.

^ Very, very true. Again on a 3-9 team while getting your ass kicked by 30 points. I would not be a good team mate cause I would be asking them WTF dumbass.

This is what I mean.

Have some reserve and be a professional. Yeah you made a big play, but your bigger body of work, and you team, suckz tha ballz.

Mark Gastineau was a perpetrator of this x 10000

^True, but Mark was stud. All da ladiez loved him long time.
