His team was being blown out and he was trying to stay positive. Its the OL/QB relationship…Its how it naturally works in football. A QB needs to be loosened up if you see him getting tight. That’s all I was getting at.

First off, DA is awful. The fact he is starting in the NFL is reason enough to fire the coach making that choice.
I also believe both Chucky and his own coach called him a DBag for doing it. Now I know in your vast experience in high school sports you’ve come to understand the game on levels we in this thread can’t, but simple fact is, as someone who played MLB and TE growing up, I would have slapped the fucking scruff off the chin of that cocksucker if he was laughing on the sideline while tossing picks and not being able to hit the broad side of the barn.
the kid was wrong and this is just another example of why he shouldn’t be starting in the NFL. He should get shit for joking around while getting his ass kicked.
Unless the OL said something like “You stupid honkey ass couldn’t hit fucking Shaq on a 5 yard comeback.” and then DA said “yeah I know, I’d probably throw it in the stands. No team, no matter how good teh other 10 are, could win with my silly ass as a QB.”[/quote]
If you’re trying to beluttle my experience in football. I can tell you I have a state ring and recruiting letters from D1 schools…even a good run at the walk on spot at my current university. =) The reason I don’t play on Saturday now is injury related. Its the internet, don’t act like you know me.
I know DA is awful. I hated watching him in CLE every Sunday. I believe he is terrible. And, you know, OL probably did say somethin like that to DA. Its not uncommon for racial jokes to fly, ya know? And DA probably did reply that way, its not uncommon to make fun of yourself when you know you’re awful.
Again, all I was saying is most people will laugh/smile at something during a 3 hour period. And truthfully, you cant even call that shit a laugh. It was a slow-mo’d smile and head nod. But, its all personal preference in the end. I’m just not wound up like that. Smiles are great medicine.
I’m gone though, dude. I don’t want to ruin this thread yall have with an argument.
GO BUCS!!!

Could you ever imagine Brady, Manning, Brees, or Rivers smiling or laughing on the sideline if their team was losing, let alone getting blown out? No, never, it simply wouldn’t happen.
Football is a war, and when your losing you want your general and your leader to be beyond enraged with a passion to destroy the other side, not cracking jokes or smiling on the sideline.
and Ct. Rockula, I don’t know you either, but don’t come in here blabbing about rings and D1 offers, that’s puerile, especially when you haven’t posted a single thing to back up all of your talk.
