NFL 2010 X 3

I think the point is, while getting your ass kicked by a bottom tier team, joking about “something else” is a but out of line.

If he didn’t know he was wrong, would he have flipped the fuck out like that?

I agree that it was bad timing (seeing as how he was seen on film doing it) but after watching that clip that Ct Rock posted I dont think DA was being a total douche. Maybe he was super down in the dumps about playing so shitty and his o-lineman was cheering him up, trying to keep him in the game… its very possible.

I think the media needs a story and is making it into a big issue when in all reality I dont think its that big of a deal.

I though DA came across as a douche and thought “why did he freak the fuck out? Why didnt he just explain what happened and end the whole line of questioning right there?”… but he did and the reporter kept pressing to get a reaction cause its a story ya know?

You shut your face Matty!!! It’s not like the Skins are playing with anything but CFL players either- Anthony Armstrong, etc…

I realize this is a rebuilding year but why did we really have to go and fuck with our defense? We went from one of the best to one of the worst. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! Shit.

I’m going to FedEx to watch the game in the owner’s box that night. Free booze and food- should be fun!!

Also, didn’t I call that the Eagles had a weak D? Their offense is high powered but their weakness is the D. Almost unfortunately (for them), their offense is so quick that it gets them off the field too fast LOL

First off, DA is awful. The fact he is starting in the NFL is reason enough to fire the coach making that choice.

I also believe both Chucky and his own coach called him a DBag for doing it. Now I know in your vast experience in high school sports you’ve come to understand the game on levels we in this thread can’t, but simple fact is, as someone who played MLB and TE growing up, I would have slapped the fucking scruff off the chin of that cocksucker if he was laughing on the sideline while tossing picks and not being able to hit the broad side of the barn.

the kid was wrong and this is just another example of why he shouldn’t be starting in the NFL. He should get shit for joking around while getting his ass kicked.

Unless the OL said something like “You stupid honkey ass couldn’t hit fucking Shaq on a 5 yard comeback.” and then DA said “yeah I know, I’d probably throw it in the stands. No team, no matter how good teh other 10 are, could win with my silly ass as a QB.”
If you’re trying to beluttle my experience in football. I can tell you I have a state ring and recruiting letters from D1 schools…even a good run at the walk on spot at my current university. =) The reason I don’t play on Saturday now is injury related. Its the internet, don’t act like you know me.

I know DA is awful. I hated watching him in CLE every Sunday. I believe he is terrible. And, you know, OL probably did say somethin like that to DA. Its not uncommon for racial jokes to fly, ya know? And DA probably did reply that way, its not uncommon to make fun of yourself when you know you’re awful.

Again, all I was saying is most people will laugh/smile at something during a 3 hour period. And truthfully, you cant even call that shit a laugh. It was a slow-mo’d smile and head nod. But, its all personal preference in the end. I’m just not wound up like that. Smiles are great medicine.

I’m gone though, dude. I don’t want to ruin this thread yall have with an argument.

GO BUCS!!!

How could anyone know you? You have never posted one picture or video of anything showing off this amazing build you talk about, and this top notch athletic ability you apparently have.

I think you are a funny dude, and appreciate your GAL posts, but your condescending tone here, and the fact you give training advice is wearing thin man. Just so you’re aware.

LOL…but the Giants are even playing with bullshit bust draft picks that couldnt even make it on your horrible offense (i.e. Devin Thomas)

But this is good for you nate, Im usually always wrong! Shit I picked the Cards to win the division!

Hey is Max Hall doing any good for whatever team he’s playing for?
byukid wrote:

he’s backing up Derek Anderson in AZ

I can’t believe DA even remembered what specific instance the reporter was talking about. Kinda sucks that he got put in such an awkward spot. You can’t really equate taking it seriously with being stone-faced imo. Some guys just play better when they’re loose. One laugh didn’t have any detrimental effect on the game.

I think part of the reason he stormed out seemed to be that he did in fact care, and the reporter kept calling him on it like he wasn’t. That would piss me the fuck off if someone didn’t shut up about how I wasn’t taking it seriously.

I guess the moral of the story is don’t throw it to the other team

there’s talk about gruden going to UM… thoughts?

http://www.abcactionnews.com/dpp/news/state/report:-jon-gruden-meeting-with-miami-athletic-director

^That’s hard to believe. His dream college job has always been Notre Dame. I think he’s better suited for the NFL. Can you imagine his tactics in the college game? He’d have them all cryin’ & going to home to suckle on the mom teet.

thats what i was thinking too… esp since he’s had success as a NFL coach… if it was butch davis or steve spurrier then i could imagine… but gruden’s been and won the big game… not sure if he goes to UM unless its for an enormous amt of money…

Actually started a couple of game for the Cards and looked awful.

Giddy for the Steelers Ravens game.

I kinda figured that’s how he’d do.

Count this is one of those situations that as professionals he should know the gravity of the situation he is in. They are always on the spot and in the camera, and I understand your point of view but this is not college ball. I really think in this situation both parties fucked up, DA and the media are douchebags.

Dwight Howard mocking Derek Anderson in his post game interview last night…

Could you ever imagine Brady, Manning, Brees, or Rivers smiling or laughing on the sideline if their team was losing, let alone getting blown out? No, never, it simply wouldn’t happen.

Football is a war, and when your losing you want your general and your leader to be beyond enraged with a passion to destroy the other side, not cracking jokes or smiling on the sideline.

and Ct. Rockula, I don’t know you either, but don’t come in here blabbing about rings and D1 offers, that’s puerile, especially when you haven’t posted a single thing to back up all of your talk.

Getting heavy in here…why can’t the Steelers have some of these?

Ravens vs Steelers: Smart pick Ravens…heart pick Steelers,

Jets vs Pats: Smart pick Pats…heart pick Jets.

Falcons vs Bucs: Smart pick Falcons…heart pick Bucs.
