NFL 2010 X 3

To answer the IR question- A lot of it has to do w/the tackling, no one does text book form anymore. It’s all about the kill shot. Whether be to the head, chop blocks, cuttting knees, launching themselves, all that shit kicks up the ratio of injuries.

WC? let me ask you this, what’cha gonna do when the Niners select Cam for your first rd draft pick?
Do you mean that guys take more chances when they know that they can come back in a year with all the advancements made in non-invasive surgerys? I thought about that angle too, not sure if that’s what you ment.

All i have to say is that I cant believe my Chicago Bears are 8-3, it does not make sense, they are getting lucky, the defense is bailing the offense out except this last game, offense was great. I dont know what the rest of the country thinks when they look at the Chicago Bears. Here in Chicago we cant figure out if they are just lucky or if we tricked ourselves into thinking that they would suck and now they dont suck we are calling them lucky instead of good.
Whats up man taking a break from SAMA?

I have to agree on the Bears getting some breaks, however there D is lights out again. Urlacher is the key, he has been out with injuries last few years, Pep was a good addition. I am not sold on Cutler yet as a Franchize QB and Forte to me has been a bust. If their running game was solid I think they could make some noise in the playoffs.
i post there and in body builder training i mostly read others, looks like you have read some of my dumb posts. I am not sold either, people forget who would not have made the pro bowl that year with Broncos if Tom Brady was not out for the year. I think they may have the best defence in the NFL but that is just on one side of the ball. Forte is a bust, no doubt. No running game and the o-line is suspect, but Martz has him doing these quick little 10 yard dumps before he gets sacked and its worked the last few games.

Urlacher is key, but we also have one of the other best linebackers in the NFL in Lance Briggs who gets overlooked WAAAAAAAAAAY to much, he may be a hall of famer as well.

Another note, Julius Peppers does not have many sacks this year but he is causing so much pressure which sadly does not show on the stat line, that indirectly has an effect on Urlacher and Briggs getting tackles because Peppers is an animal.
Well people who really know football know what Peppers is doing so you know the coaches do also. Briggs is great no doubt, but when he was running solo last year just didnt have the impact. Martz is creative no doubt and good to see he is not tyring to make chicken salad out of chicken shit. He is just doing what needs to be done to win. I was not sold on the Eagles defense anyway so I really didnt consider them top notch. When do they play Green Bay?

^ I think the key to Chicago beside Martz is Tice. He’s getting the O line to play w/some cohesion.

Peppers doesn’t have to have sacks to be successful, I think he proved that Sun. against Vick w/containment alone.

^ Great post. And I agree.

Anderson: “It wasnt funny. I wasnt laughing”

Reporter: “But the camera showed you laughing”

Anderson: “Ok, Thats fine, thats fine, thats fine”

LOL

Seriously Gore? A fractured hip and out for the rest of the season? Wow

LOL!! Anderson looks like one of those Keebler cookie maker cats. Can’t even grow a full beard, how do you expect him to win games. Put Brady in!!!

Wow, Derrick Anderson…is getting fucked over now for laughing? What the fuck?

Because he was laughing on sideline while his team was getting blown out. That makes him a total douche. Get it now?

Rock, this might not be the thread for you.

Please stop with the theatrical shit.

Either talk football or post inane shit elsewhere.

No, I don’t. Everyone laughs during the course of a 3 hour game no matter what the score is. You know what its like on the sidelines, right? You might here anything while standing there. Its human to laugh. Its not like he was pointing at the scoreboard and giggling.

I was talking about how the little innocent smile be DA got blown to hell by sports media. That’s all. Print came at me me crazy so I went back at him.

See how much of a douchebag the reporter is? Anderson already answered the question of why he was laughing. His team was being blown out and he was trying to stay positive. Its the OL/QB relationship…Its how it naturally works in football. A QB needs to be loosened up if you see him getting tight. That’s all I was getting at.

First off, DA is awful. The fact he is starting in the NFL is reason enough to fire the coach making that choice.

I also believe both Chucky and his own coach called him a DBag for doing it. Now I know in your vast experience in high school sports you’ve come to understand the game on levels we in this thread can’t, but simple fact is, as someone who played MLB and TE growing up, I would have slapped the fucking scruff off the chin of that cocksucker if he was laughing on the sideline while tossing picks and not being able to hit the broad side of the barn.

the kid was wrong and this is just another example of why he shouldn’t be starting in the NFL. He should get shit for joking around while getting his ass kicked.

Unless the OL said something like “You stupid honkey ass couldn’t hit fucking Shaq on a 5 yard comeback.” and then DA said “yeah I know, I’d probably throw it in the stands. No team, no matter how good teh other 10 are, could win with my silly ass as a QB.”

Correct. You do not get it. But that’s ok.

this is the first clip I’ve see where they showed the whole interview. EVERY other chip i’ve seen on ESPN since the incident didnt show the first part where he actually answered the question. I watched Around the Horn and Sports Nation and on both of those shows everyone acted as if the first part of this interview never happened (from what I saw I honestly believe that they probably DIDNT actually see the whole interview… jsut the freak out part)

Now after seeing the whole thing I think that the media is being too hard on Anderson. Yeah he sucks and is a back up at best, but he doesnt deserve all this for laughing a little and actually explaining it in the interview that he wasnt laughing about the game or their performance but just about something else.
