surprised greene hasn’t stepped up… he played real well last year and when the jets traded T. Jones i thought greene would’ve taken that as a sign that the job was his for the taking but old man LT has really shown Greene that he still has a few things to learn… dunno what’s stopping greene…
im not complaining tho i have LT and Holmes in fantasy lol

Do you guys think that Wade Phillips was that bad or that Jason Garret is that good? To me Wade seemed way to soft to run a football team…
Okay WC, here is the deal, the Boys have not been in full pads since training camp and that was for 3 days total until this week. They did not have early morning meetings, and no fines for tardiness. They also just now were banned from bringing cell phones, pagers or any electronic devices to meetings. Orlando Scandrick said this was the first meeting since he was a rookie that he had to bring a notebook. So you tell me the answer to your question. I was floored by this by the way.
Yea I heard how strict and structured he was making things, and I really liked it. This is a professional sport where players are being paid millions, they should expect to study and prepare for the game accordingly.

Hell if I showed up to some of my business meetings with my cell phone going off, how long do you think my clients would stick with me or showing up late. Dont even get me started about how the approach has been the 7 on 7 track meet mentality. I am not ready to say that Howdy Doody needs to HC job but at least for the first game they showed up.
Matty you are correct a few plays here and there could have turned it around. But again my opinion, not to piss off the Giants fans, I just dont think Eli is an Elite QB.
On the fumble from the crappy snap late in the game, as Eli went down was he tossing the ball away or was just a knee jerk type reaction? Also, I agree with DJ about Eli, but I just dont like him
The Giants had their chances and gave the game away. That’s how it goes some weeks. Nothing worse than when you are supposed to blow a team out. Dez looks to be a real beast.

Nice 1.7 bil stadium huh?
You know I wonder if something is going to come out about that. Or was it just a faulty wiring? Dez has definately stepped up as a rookie. How do you think the G men will do agaist the Eagles?

I’ve never seen anything like that and was wondering what would happen/what the rule is if the lights didn’t come back on and the game had to be replayed. Crazy stuff.
I’m nervous as always. We had the Eagles number for years (won 7 of 8 or something like that at one point) but that tide has changed in the past 2 years or so. I’m glad McNabb is gone but now Vick seems to be playing well. The key will be to rush the QB while keeping containment and not let Vick get free. On offense I think the Giants can do damage through the air. It will be close and could come down to the last team with the ball winning.
The only advantage the skins’ have tonight is playing at home. Than again so is Vick. If the season ended right now, I’d give him MVP. He’s the highest rated qb in the league. He has his team on a winning roll.
I don’t think the skins will contain him nor will the Giants. Not to mention the secondary of the Giants was torched last night. What do you think Jackson, Macklin, & Celek will do?
If Dez can control his emotions & not act like a street thug, he’ll be the shit for a long time in D.
^True dat! However if he manages to get them to the big one, all bets are off. It basically will be because of him. But, w/that being said you can make a case for Rivers too. That cat is going to shatter every passing record out there.
BTW- fun fact… Jets are the first team in NFL history to win back to back OT games on the road.
^ Heard that this morning. I watched most of this game probably 90%, warmed my heart to see Colt McCoy the 3rd rounder out there playing his ass off. I wonder if someone is going to give Rob Ryan a shot at HC? To be able to do what he has done with that defense of no names is pretty impressive.

X2…Fuckin’ hell. Just when I was starting to like William Gay this year, last years William Gay shows up. I can’t help but wonder if maybe (dare I say it) Dick Labeau is putting those guys in the wrong spots. Are the players guessing or are they just following orders.
B-Mac is slower than fuck now and Randell El still has those butter fingers I remember from his first go round with the team, throws a nice spiral though lol. #7 is in for a rough ride with the patchwork O-Line he’s got infront of him but I have alot of faith in the new offensive line coach.
On a positive note Mike Wallace and Lawrence Timmons are awesome.

I really really hate Tom Brady today.

I hate him every day. How old is he now, get a hair cut you hippie.
My bro just texted to tell me the skins’ have signed McNabb to a 5yr 87million extension! So much for my theory of Vick going there next yr. I would NEVER pay McNabb that kinda money. I’m surprised Shanny & Shanny jr went along w/it too.
I knew Denver weren’t as bad as their record and I thought it might be a trap game for us, but I never expected last nights debacle. I still think we should be able to go 10-6 and win the division but am getting less sure everyday. One of the most annoying parts is reading the stupid crowing comments from Raider fans, we better run it down their throats in Arrowhead. I would be depressed for a month if they do better than us this year. The only positive from last night was the continued good chemistry between Bowe and Cassell.
