I almost never talk trash. I’m the type that is worried even if we are 2 touchdown favorites paying against a backup QB. I may have gotten a little excited when I stumbled onto the NFL thread for the first time and saw that a cowboy fan seemed to be one of if not the main contributor. I just skipped to the end and jumped in head first.
I look forward to making meaningful contributions to this thread.
Well now that we got the introductions done. The wife is working today so I have a full day of NFL Ticket Red Zone. Of course until the Dallas game and then I get to see this guy get his first HC defeat.
Bungles +6.5. They won’t win, but I smell a cover
Rams +5.5. Same deal.
Da Girls +14.5. If they can’t cover 2 touches that entire city should be leveled with napalm.

Philly -2.5 if I need it monday.[/quote]
Dammit Beans fear the Howdy, fear it, we will cover the spread.
I’d feel better if the skipper was around for another week. Giants have new starters at 3 spots on the O line and Steve Smith is out at WR too.
I’ll be watching the early games out a bar/restaurant. There’s a birthday party for one of my wife’s friends boyfriend. I hate watching my team play out so we’re leaving just in time to get home for kickoff.

You are not a Steeler fan…you are my opponent!
Getting that out of the way this thread is full of folks that know fooseball front to back and could have their own pre-game show lol…seriously.
^ That is why DVR was the greatest invention, I normally will work it that I get home around half time and then I can FF through all the fucking commercials. But I agree and with my emotional attachment to my team I have been known to voice and physically confront people who talk shit. Safer to stay at home.
Sucks when you can’t hear the broadcast regardless of how lame some of the announcers are. And yeah the level of pissedoffness increases ten fold when my team is losing and someone is cheering next me for the other guys.

Man I can not count how many times, I was farther south in Texas for the last 25 years. Would go to the local bar to eat some chicken wings and watch the game. Crowds of Cowboys fans drinking beer having a good time, then you would have that one or two stupid MF with an Eagles shirt on talking shit. I know they think they are brave but really. What is more fucked up they would be wearing these and the Cowboys wouldnt even be playing the Eagles.
No way, no how would I ever leave home when the Jets are on. I have to sit in my lucky recliner & have everyone out of the room. As I’ve gotten older I’m not nearly as vocal. I’ve fashioned myself not to get to high w/these guys cuz the fall is hard, deep, & feels like concrete when I hit bottom.
I do have my reservations today w/Cleveland. Seems to be way way to much smack talk coming out of Rex. How bout you STFU & practice. Def. or no def. Mangini will have a few tricks up his sleeve.
My gut tells me that the boys will win today. Don’t know what it is, but I can tell you it’s a different than feeling than what Beans feels when he picks. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Howdy runs the ball 45x. Just to bring back some physicality to that team.

I hear with the boys but I think it will be on D that you see a change. The red headed step child has been calling the offensive plays the same for past few years as O coach.
For some reason I am completely incapable of watching sporting events that have been recorded. I have to watch the games live, plain and simple.
To me there just isn’t the same energy and emotion when I know the event has already happened and I’m simply watching a recording of it, instead of seeing the events unfold as they are actually happening.
Like I said…Giants Lose this Week, big upset DJ…all your posts reek of reverse psychology!
Oh I just had a bout of puking my brains out for 24 hours…so print here are my pooches.
The first I found on a highway in Pennsylvania near amish Country…I pulled over to take a piss and thought I ran into a racoon, scared the shit outta me…but it was fuzzy puppy. I couldnt leave it there, it is a purebread Keeshond and a total sweetheart. My wife says shes my goomah, lol. She goes wherever I go, her name is dutchess (national dog of holland)

I am old and watch the games alone. So saying that I FUCKING hate commercials. To me that takes away the flow of the game. If I can FF then I am right there like there was no stop in the action. If I am watching with a group of people then yes want to watch it live, so you can make comments during the breaks and get into the flow that way. I am like print in my favorite chair, glass of tea (I gave up beer), dip of snuff and everybody leave me the fuck alone.

Cool dog Matty, you know there are better ways to lose weight right?
Seriously my best friend, Reggie couldnt ask for a better dog…he was store bought which I know is a big no no, I couldnt help myself. Hes 40lbs which is the biggest Boston Terrier I have ever seen, hes the type of dog that will sit next to you at the shitter, wait for you at the shower and watch every football game with you on sunday…hes the tits!
Aww man it was horrible bro, only problem is Sunday is my day to eat all the shit I want, Im keeping my fingers crossed.
Im the same way I love to watch games alone. Im not a big yeller and screamer, I go to 1 or 2 jet games a year, and my buddies bust my balls cuz Im too quiet.
