In your condition/bodyfat level, a liter of whole milk by itself or a half-liter of whole milk and some rice, are very inappropriate, just like milk and cookies should not be your afternoon snack. C’mon son.

You’re absolutely falling into the trap that keeps a lot of vegetarian lifters from seeing muscular gains. You’re severely underestimating your protein intake and it’s totally holding you back.

Especially since you’re allowed dairy products, I want to see more yogurt (low fat if possible), greek yogurt, beans, protein shakes (instead of straight milk), nuts and seeds (in absolute moderation).

Legit question: If you can take fish supplements, why can you not eat whole fish?

Not to start an big debate, but I don’t see how there’s any moral or ethical difference.

That trainer is a knob. This issue has been discussed many, many, many, many times. Full range of motion squats expose the knee joint to less stress than squatting to parallel.

After I actually wrote down my diet , I realised how much it sucked . So Ive replaced cookies with protein bars and drink milk with lesser fat in it .Im eating everything that has even a slight protein in it to hike up my intake .

Im going to start some meat-eating like fish on my own pretty soon .So guess I wont need the supps anymore . And yea , I didn`t change anything for that trainer. Just listened to him and let it go .

If you want to excel at weightlifting expect a few things.

  1. Years of hardwork in the gym and kitchen.

  2. Making retarded routines and failing time and time again.

  3. Learning from your mistakes and properly constructing a diet and workout plan based on your body.

This is what happens with everybody that succeeds in weight lifting unless your blessed with a good coach.

Does anyone else here go through this ?
All I do in the gym is compound excercises and a few assistant excercises . Im but not losing the fat as it shows in my recent pics . If I take my calorie intake down , Ive read thats bad for muscle growth . If I take it up , it doesnt help my bodyfat level.

I don`t do cardio as in normal sense. Just medium weight - high reps as my cardio in squats. Even if I do some treadmill and lose some calories , It all comes back within an hour of leaving the gym :..

Get a fitday account and track your food. That’s about the worst diet I’ve seen.
