Around 195 on stage at 6 foot and between 7.8 to 8.0% Body Fat on the 4 Skinfolds Durnin Scale.
I’d like to use this as an example of what a TRUE 8% bodyfat physique looks like. All abs clearly defined and near perfect muscle separation.
A lot of posters throw around sub-10% bodyfat levels in their stats like they’re nothing, but really, if you truly get to this level you’re pretty damned cut.
To the OP, you look awesome. I aspire to get to your level of leanness. The only advice I could offer pretty much echoes some of the other comments…in your off season if you could pack on some mass to your delts and upper back, your V-taper would look a lot more impressive.
Let me clarify, I saw the diet stuff you posted and that seems like a pre-contest diet right?
Do you eat like that year round? Or what does your off-contest diet look like? Thanks…
Yes; this was a pre-competition diet.
As long as my current off-season diet goes I’m eating around 4000 calories. My macronutrients breakdown is 40% Proteins and Carbs, 20% Fat.
For training, I’m now into a Strength Phase as I moved from a little GPP Phase in order to brought back functionality; I was doing Isolation type workout (hypertrophy) for the last 5 months.
I try to keep my body fat around 9.5 to 10% in case of an upcoming photo shoot as well as being efficient doing BBoy (Breakdance). Also it is for me an ideal body fat as I feel totally energized and able to slowly bring up my calories intake.
Wow JJ all has been said really. I think you look spectacular and its really refreshing to see a guy with a great physique so down to earth Keep up the good work and goodluck with your next shows!
The reason why I posted these pictures was to know what you guys think as I understand I can improve my stage presence and physical apperance for shows to come.
