New to Steroids, D-Bol Only Cycle?

Sorry if this isn’t meant to be posted here it won’t allow me to post in the Pharma section I have a couple questions related to running my first cycle. I’ve been doing some research(from from knowledgeable) I’m working on it there’s so many articles out there with all different information.

I’m 24 years old 6’5 and 260 pounds I started lifting about a year and a half ago and was at 330 pounds at the time. What is the best option for me I want some gains but I’m not going to lie I’m skeptical on injections I read that a dianabol cycle is best for beginners who are skeptical about injections but I also read that I’ll lose any gains I get if I don’t have a “test base”.

Sorry for my ignorance someone please educate me and let me know what’s best for me.

Seems like a reasonable time investment to start making permanent changes to your body for temporary gains.

There is a time and place where enhancements are reasonable to take, and you’re about 8 years shy of it.

Dial in your diet, get respectable lifts and a respectable physique, then come back and ask this question.

Then you shouldn’t be partaking in steroid use. I mean this is far from the only reason, but just one more.

Don’t think you’re ready to AAS to be honest, I bet you can go far naturally since you’re still fairly new to this. But if you do jump in, don’t use Dbol only.

This is a good start. What I would need is to know the amount of muscle you have added.

  • Are you an athletic 260lbs?
  • Do you still have “love handles?”
  • Do you have noticeable muscle separation?
  • How strong are you? (What is your 5 rep Squat? Bench press?, Deadlift?)
  • Considering your weight, how many pull-ups can you do?

How you answer these questions will determine my opinion. You should know that I ran Dianabol-only cycles for the first 6 years of the 3 decades that I did AAS.

  • Are you an athletic 260lbs? Im very active I play football in a local semi professional league and overall yes I’m athletic.

  • Do you still have “love handles?”
    Yes I do but I would argue it’s because I’ve kept some weight on for football because I’m a lineman going against guys who have 100+ pounds on me

  • Do you have noticeable muscle separation?

When I’m about 10-15 pounds lighter yes I can definitely notice it but 260 has been my sweet spot for football

  • How strong are you? (What is your 5 rep Squat? Bench press?, Deadlift?) I’m going to report back to you later tonight with my max 5 rep on each lift

  • Considering your weight, how many pull-ups can you do? I should be training using my body weight more I can do about 20-30/set depending on energy levels and rest time between sets.

Also I want to thank you for the genuine response I appreciate your feedback and the fact you didn’t just tell me it’s not for me without any other explanation. Also is there any one certain place for me to gain accurate knowledge on this topic?

I don’t know of any. There does seem to be some good knowledge here. I was using AAS when the only source of information was the PDR (Physician’s Desk Reference) and word of mouth from others who took AAS.

Give the guys here a chance. For the most part, they have pretty good knowledge, and IMO, they mean well. They are on the conservative side as to AAS use. And from what I have seen of AAS users through my years, those who have the most success don’t have excessive fat on them. Maybe your 260lbs got them thinking you are carrying too much fat.

It is my strong opinion that the Dianabol made by CIBA is the best AAS mg for mg. Now I can not vouch for any other manufacturer of metandienone, aka methandienone, aka methandrostenolone.

I took relatively low doses. I started with two 5mg pills/day (one in the morning and one at night) eight weeks on-cycle, followed by a 6 to 8 week off-cycle. Over the years I got up to 20mg/day (spread throughout the day.) By then Dianabol was one AAS in a stack with testosterone and another anabolic injection.

I wait for your powerlift strength pounds.

What I am most confused about is why are you doing this cycle? To get better at semi pro football? To get more jacked? I would argue both are achievable naturally and definitely without dbol. This wreaks of a newbie disaster cycle. Stay natty. Unless you have the ability for those steroids to enhance your life in a meaningful or monetary way why bother?

Also if your going to go ahead and do steroids. Try 250mg of test E per week split into two shots. TRT plus as they say. Stay away from orals and anything high dose until you see how your body responds. With high fat levels I would have concerns.

You can do 20-30 pullups in one go? At 260lb?
You’re tall so 260lb doesn’t necessarily mean you are fat, depending on how much lean mass you have.

If you are adamant on doing steroids, first get your hormone levels checked so you know where you stand at naturally. You will need this information when you PCT.

Reconsider your stance on injections. Exogenous testosterone at 250-500mg for 12-16 weeks is a much safer, much more effective alternative to dbol only cycle and will grant you much more keepable gains once you come off. If you aren’t fond of needles (nobody is), you can safely use 29-30g insulin pins to inject pain free.

Having said all that, in your shoes I would be training my ass off for a couple more years to maximize my natural potential and make training a part of my lifestyle, a habit, a necessity to my quality of life - more important than breakfast or brushing your teeth sort of thing. Not just a routine which can be dropped at a whim for months on end. This is something that requires time and there’s no shortcuts to developing this mental state.
Let us know the numbers that @RT_Nomad requested and your hormone levels if you have them.
