Please, enlighten us. The medical community has historically done SUCH a fabulous job when it comes to hormones and all.
Youāre not the OP. My suggestion wasnt for you. I havent read about all of your issues yet, but at 60 yrs old with 20 years of TRT you could use a little freshening up on how TRT works differently for many of us. The man is experiencing a roller coaster which can be due to frequency of aromatase to estrogen or simply the way his system reacts to T in the hours or days after injection. So please dont get defensive. My suggestion is not for you.
I apologize, I thought you were talking to me.
hi KNB, i responded to your post above about dropping carbs what do you think? thanks for being active
another reply sorry im looking at what you said, does this mean (about sodium) i would need to consume more sodium while on trt or less?>?? its funny you say this because i regularly get ādead legsā which my doctor has been looking at for a while but shes an idiot and she ALWAYS puts it down to the fact ive got severe anxiety. but everyday at least once i stand up and it feels like my legs are PACKED with lactic acid to the point itshard to walk, theyre almost crampy and stiff,. i drink a shed load of water when this happens and walk around a bit and eventually it subsides but its terrifying when it happens cause it spreads to my arms and stomach sometimes, its jus very painful and scary to someone who has anxiety and is a bit of a health fearer to himself.
is pinning cyp every 3 days not enough??? its one of the longest esters? im not too clued up on this im learning as i go really. im in the UK so were locked down at the moment (even though i think this is a loadof nonsense) so the gyms arent open, but im trying to replicate my usual training routine at home ive got some basics. i train weight 5 days a week and do 15-30 slow steady cardio a night on the exercise bike. i eat 5 meals a day, sometimes 6 but usually 5, vegetables every meal, white meat, rice, sweet potato etc. no protein shakes (intolerance)
decreasemy dosage? ive already dropped from 250mg per week to 200mg to 120. the lower i went the worse my mood got, its jus sort of ok now i dont want to drop it further, what does your last sentence mean? i thought it was more favourable to jab more than once a week with smaller dosages to keep levels stable? also how would sodium reabsorbption in the kidneys make for me being tired and anxious? thanks for your reply buddy
Do you have any type of heart issues or diabetes?
neither. ive had bloods done in past everything was ok, i was absolutely CONVINCED i had diabetes once. i had all symptoms of it, got fasted bloods done AND bloods post food and both were absolutely fine, i think i did have insulin resistance though, but thats self diagnosed so maybe not.
Do you have back fat that resembles āwingsā down the middle of the back? Although it is not always a definite symptom, it is common enough to mention it here.
no brother i dont have that
Thatās great actually, I just wanted to ask.
I found out that my provider as per by the Kaiser clinical guidelines instructs doctors to label undiagnosed illnesses as a psychiatric case, a troubling trend because people are often dealing with serious medical problems and this guideline puts people lives in danger.
So out comes the anti-depressant which is much cheaper than using resources to find the root cause. I experienced this more than once, almost two years ago I had a consultation with a private doctor who ran labs and reported that there were lab values indicating low iron.
I took this information to my GP and told him I feel like Iām running low on something the latter part of the day, he said what I needed was an anti-depressant even though I displayed no anxiety or depressive symptoms.
A week later not only confirm iron deficiency, but also vitamin C, Vitamin D and a potassium deficiency. The latter one can turn into a life threatening condition and I was in danger.
Anxiety can be caused by many different medical conditions, so the question doctors should be asking is why do you have anxiety. Most of the time doctors just donāt care to find out because itās costly, so out comes the anti-depressants which are over-prescribed and are cheap.
what did you ask that for if you dont mind me asking?
bloody hell mate youve got me thinking i might have something life threatening here now
There are many possible sources/reasons for hyperlactemia⦠I have another couple of questions you drink a lot of water, right? What other beverages do you drink, a little or a lot? Have you ever gotten pH strips and put them on your tongue, or used pH strips in your urine stream? I am going somewhere with this, I need your answers first, please.
i drink about 4L per day yes. i drink a bit of sugar free cordial in water too to make it taste slightly better, i also drink hot lemon water, and chamomile tea, decaf green tea with lemon too. and sometimes ginger with hot lemon in. i have never put a PH strip on my tongue, no. cheers for the consistent responding!!
Here is a good explanatory read:Salivary pH: A diagnostic biomarker - PMC It is more related to periodontics, but I feel it is still worth reading. I switched to drink alkaline water these days, and this article is another good read: Alkaline water improves exercise-induced metabolic acidosis and enhances anaerobic exercise performance in combat sport athletes - PMC
I went from every 3.5 days to EOD, to ED. The change is apparent to me. Yep, it makes a difference for some of us. Some will tell you that it doesnt because of the esther, but you may just be one of those guys who chews through T at a rapid rate. So try daily shots, and consider going back up to at least 160mg. Throw in prison squats and push ups daily for 60 days. Watch the fat burn instead of just calories. My trainer has several mom clients and after pregnancy, only squats and deadlifts were able to bring them back to pre pregnancy looks. It worked for them and has been working for me. Im mid 40s and things didnt start to be obviously better til after I upped my dose and switched to dailies. Try it, if not go back to EOD. I use 29g needles in order to deal with the daily pin
thanks for the reply, i use the small insulin pins in my delt, theyre tiny but they do the trick. i wouldnt mind EOD, its not toomuch of a drop, maybe i`ll try that. do you get yours precribed or have you taken it upon yourself to do this and bought black market? its hardto know how much test im actualy injecting, im jus going off the bottle.
