New to Board

just a quick post to say hello and introduce myself, and a bit of background why I’m here.
I’m not a bodybuilder, just an average 47 YO that was a little over weight. 5’10" ~185lb.
I’ve heard all the commercials about Low T and did some research found this site and decided to get mine checked.

Now I’m on TRT Test Cyp. 1ML weekly, after experiencing some great benefits I felt really strong and wanted to take full advantage of the TEST, so I started doing push-ups, pull-up, chin-ups & crunches (even at work) and have been recording my daily activities. I’ve noticed great results since I started TRT in July. My weight shot up to 193# a month later, and my doctor said it was the muscle gain (but I do look fuller in the arms).
So my wife and I started eating right, we both did a whole body cleanse and started using an iPhone app to log our meals- now I’m at 177#.

But since October I’ve lost the “strength” that I was experiencing - along with some of the other symptoms I’ve read here.

I know everyone likes numbers here, and unfortunately I didn’t learn what to look at before I started TRT - so no before TRT data other than the T results.

Pre- TRT data: (15 June 12)
Total T 252 ng/dl (250-1100) reference
Free T 48.0 pg/ml (35-155) reference

TRT data 4 months: (26 Oct12) I have other information with this test, as this was also an annual check up/ physical. If you think it has any information you might need, just ask.
Total T 1056 ng/dl (250-1100) reference
Free T 224.6 pg.ml High (35-155) reference

I had talked to my doctor about using an AI and HCG in July, and he said it wasn’t necessary for my dosage.

So after reading here about E following T and given how I feel, I decided to look into an AI supplement while I was at GNC - thats when the guy mentioned about the Formeron by Black Lion research.

I haven’t seen anything on here about it, but thought I’d give it a try based on the information I’ve found searching.

But before I started using it, I called my Dr. and requested a test for DHT & E2 (Quest Sensitive 4021x) but this test wasn’t found and the 439x was substituted - Not sure what that will tell me, but will post the results when I get them.

I’ve been reading the stickies and learning allot in the short time I’ve been here and plan on making this my home.

As a newb here myself, welcome! This sure seems like the place to be if your want trt done right.

I agree, thanks for the welcome!

Self injecting? Try injecting 50mg twice a week.
When was the lab work done relative to prior injection?
Refer to your doses by mg’s, not volumes.

That lab is wrong, no use for total estrogens.

We just do not work with that and it does not hook into our experience. We can get an overall picture.

Formeron states that it is a prohormone and thus criminalized as a schedule anabolic steroid III drug [USA]. It is less cost effective than research chemical anastrozole and little is known about its dose-response and safety. The hype about “suicide inhibitor” is just that, hype. Anastrozole is more effective.

Thanks for the reply, Didn’t find anything about that bing banned, when looking for info on the Formeron. Should I discontinue the use?
I’ll look into the Anastrozole, you recommending that as to an alternative to an AI?

The test were performed on Fridays - and injections are done on Sundays.

Anastrozole [Arimidex] is the main Aromatase Inhibitor. Start looking things up on Wikipedia.

The legislation does not have to refer to a specific chemical. It refers to any substance that is anabolic or one that is converted into such inside the body. Some have noted that this makes possession of cholesterol a crime. Some idiots that we voted for a few years ago then tried to criminalize DHEA. Note that Canada, UK and some other Common Wealth countries did this. Importing/selling/possessing DHEA in Canada has the same criminal implications as importing testosterone.
