Missed 600 today at my sticking point, low, app 3". So I was pissed and weighed my plates. Seems my 600 weighs out at 614.5. so my 585 a month ago was 599.5. I only weighed the 45s btw.
So I’m still short, hahaha!

Hey, if you put that into Excel and eliminate the decimal points, guess what - it rounds up to 600. Problem solved, lol.

True, but I need to do the listed weight on the bar or just get some Ivanko calibrated plates.
It’s good to know I’m close on accurate plates, and I damn well know I could have done 1/2 pound more a month ago.

Hmmm food for thought… I’m gonna weigh the 100s and a few 45s and see what they amount to.
Hit 240kg/533lb at IPF meet today. Went up very fast. Forgot to flip the lever on my belt as well. 3rd attempt so didn’t go for anything higher. 270/600 might be possible come my next meet in April 2011.
Got 555 from a 2 inch defecit today. Took some effort to lockout, but I got it.
In hindsight, I should’ve called it there, but I decided to try for another. Bumped it up to 585 and couldn’t get it past my knees. My body has never felt so drained. Went home and went straight to bed.

Hit a 565 rack pull from the first pin. I personally think rack pulls are tougher than pulling from the floor so I’ll be disappointed if I can’t pull atleast 565 from the floor.
Tried 605 and it might as well have been screwed to the ground.[/quote]
I work the same way. I’m good for twenty plus more from the floor.
Hit 575 x1 from the floor, after some pretty heavy box squats and good mornings. I’m going to make a run at 600 in a few weeks.

My PR is 565, but it was easy. Then I started a volume program. I will be going for 600-625 next meet (Jan 29.) but I should be able to pull over 600 before then in the gym…
Count me in the competition. How do we prove we won? $ is tight, so if I can’t get a camera, guess I will have to wait till the meet and post a link to the results…
523.whatever at my first meet this past Saturday + about 20 lbs on the PR.

Doing it is fine by me. you say you did it, good for you. Video is fine.
Going for a new PR tomorrow even though the last 2 weeks have been pretty crappy in the gym. I’m going to reset my 5/3/1 back 2 cycles or so after this so I figured I might as well try for a PR. I’ll post updates tomorrow.
Good luck to you. This lifting stuff can drive you crazy!
I wish to join the race! Best pull is 555 right now…but this was my swing at 585 after having a bad day. Tried to salvage a PR Total

holy shit that was close. you’ll have 600 in no time
At a meet over the weekend I wrote down 265 kg for my second attempt, which is 584 pounds. After I pulled the slowest deadlift I have ever experienced, one of the judges said it looked like the weight was wrong. It turned out that the bar was misloaded and was actually 275 kg, or 606 pounds. So I’m finally there, but by accident. Time for 700.
Pulled 500 quick and smooth, almost easy and than tried to go for 550 but bar didn’t clear an inch or two off the ground. This last 3 weeks of lifting has just been pretty miserable. Resetting all my training % and deloading to attack it the next 2 months.

And hate misload misses
That is awesome man, congrats
Thanks guys! It was definitely cool. Felt like Christmas morning or something when the judge said, “You’re welcome. These loaders just gave you a 600+ pull.” Thought I was going to jizz in my singlet!
