New Music

New T.I. single off his next album:

Pretty much the best new singer out right now, The Weeknd:

That’s his newest song, and he has a new tape, Echoes and Silence coming out very soon.

For those who like his first tape House of Balloons, which had Wicked Games on it, he released another tape a few weeks back called Thursday. Here’s a song from that:

So Ive been into Electro-pop lately thanks to the movie “Drive”. Its electronic music with synthesizers and is highly influence by 80s music but with modern bass.

J Cole’s Cole World is an instant classic IMO. Shit is fire.

Not much in the way of “Club Bangers” more of a chill or for gym a focus day. I wouldn’t cue it up for heavy deads, but great for arms or back day with cables etc…

Five Finger Death Punch’s new shit is just as good, if not better than their last LP

Radio show I listen to mentioned that new Mastodon was out and praised it as ‘front to back no letdown, all good tracks.’ Have to check more of it out.

I thought it was a huge disappointment, to be honest. Especially when it’s compared to the Warm Up, and even Friday Night Lights.

New single by Common:

The Dreamer, The Believer, coming out soon.

New song off Noel Gallagher’s new album:

How many times have you listened through it?

I thought Eminem’s new joint was garbage until about the third time through, when I got over my expectations and heard it for what it is.

Dude, IMO the best part of this debut, is that he shouldn’t sophomore slump off it.

IDK, maybe I just have shit taste, lol

Hmmm… there might be something to this. I listened to the whole thing twice through. I’ve heard certain songs a lot more though, especially the ones that were on his mixtapes [Like In the Morning and Lights Please].

It just felt like there were a few too many songs on there that weren’t natural fits for him. In any event I’ll have to give it another spin.

Not that related to the J. Cole, but the Jay-Z quote at the beginning of this song is exactly why Jay might be the greatest. No one else is that cerebral.

TM:103 coming soon.

This shit needs to happen. I have been dying for some new shit. Between FFDP, Cole World, the Kanye/Jay shit all I need is TM:103 to make everything tight for the next 6 months.

^For real, man. It’s been way too long since his last record, even with all the mixtapes he’s put out in between.

The best Cypher from the BET Awards:

Gotta give it to Em. He’s the best selling rapper, legacy already in place, and he still raps better and sounds hungrier than all of the guys on the come up. And he steals the show on a cypher amongst the Slaughterhouse guys and Yelawolf.

He’s gotta be Top 10 all time by now.

Haha yeah I saw that on HipHopDx a couple of days ago. Look at Yelawolf acting all solitary and shy in the background. I think he felt lucky to be involved in that clip with Eminem. Look at his reaction when Eminem talks about him as a redneck hick with a pickup LOL.

Joell Ortiz’s expressions are also funny near the end there

Maybe not so new anymore but this is the best song out in months.

They definitely looked like they were having the most fun. Eminem’s set up a pretty solid label.
