I’ve heard of them but don’t know any of their songs.

It’s hard to describe the style of metal music I like, but Saliva’s Ladies and Gentlmen is one that gets much play in my iPod.
Well then try:

Kicking Harold - I am gasoline, specifically
Fu Manchu
Kyuss
Monster Magnet
Queens of the Stone Age
Alabama Thunderpussy

In that order. And one caveat, It’s been awhile since I’ve listened to Alabama Thunder Pussy. They are a pretty crude band from Alabama. They may have a few racial undertones, I can’t remember for sure but be warned.

Most of RHCP’s music has been “meh”, since BSSM. But, I like this tune… And, it’s made me curious as to what the new CD (Aug. 30) sounds like.

What!? You didn’t like Stadium Arcadium? Dude that album was straight FIRE! At least that had inklings of rock, this new single just sounds poppy.

Nice, didn’t know they were releasing an album this year. I don’t think they’ve made an album that I’ve really liked but usually each album has a few songs that are pretty good.

Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, and Big sean are doing a mixtape together that will be out soon. I think it’s going to be called The How Fly Boys. Here are a couple of songs from it:

Sounds like it’s going to be pretty dope. I was a fan of the tape Wiz and Curren$y did a while back, How Fly.

Kanye West & Jay-Z ft. Otis Redding- Otis

Yes this version is sped up, but youtube takes off all the other ones. A quick google will get you the proper sounding song.

Their collaboration album, Watch the Throne comes out August 8 I believe.

Hoooooooolllllly FUCK

Heard this song on the radio on the drive home. I liked it a lot.

Tech n9nes album has some class songs.

I liked Stadium Arcadium and their other albums, but nothing really stood out to me… To be honest, Anthony Kiedis’s voice sometimes annoys me, even though I love them as a band. They said that the songs on the new cd are all very eclectic.

New Chickenfoot: Chickenfoot - "Big Foot" Single (Official) - YouTube

I didn’t bother to read through all of this, but I copped 8 albums (a BG, Redman, GFK, Raekwon, old Busta Rhymes, and a shitty mixtape that I thought was a Bun B record by accident)…

On top of those, however, I got two of E-40’s Revenue Retrievin’ albums (Overnight and Graveyard - I already had Night Shift from a while back)… and I can not speak highly enough of E-40’s shit from an entertainment perspective… top notch rapping and bumpin’ beats…

Also, M.O.P. will never fall off…

First single off of Jeezy’s upcoming LP, TM:103.

Here’s part of another song that might make the album, featuring Andre3000:

^Sounds like a dope ass album cut. Album’s out September 20.

Kanye West and Jay-Z’s joint album Watch the Throne is on iTunes this week, then I think it’s physical release is next week. Here are some songs from it:

Pretty nice music video for Otis, featuring Otis Redding:

Who Gon’ Stop Me

Lift Off featuring Beyonce

Some other dope songs on there, too. Production by Kanye West, the RZA, the Neptunes, Q-Tip, Swizz Beatz, and others.

Kendrick Lamar- A.D.H.D.

Off the tape Section 80, which was pretty good. Kendrick might be working with Dr. Dre, either on Detox or his own album. Not sure of the details.

More kizomba :

Some kind of “aggressive kizomba” :

Again, this is new to me.

This dude is fire, imo.

Needs to do something about the uni-brow tho

Yeah J. Cole’s pretty good. He still needs something else to become a star , but he’s a good rapper. Here’s a song he did with B.o.B.

If you’re interested in his music I still think his best tapes to download are Friday Night Lights, and The Warn Up. Here’s one from the Warm Up:

Pretty nice, sounds different from the other songs of his I’ve heard.

Not really a David Guetta fan or an electronic music fan for the most part but I might give his upcoming album a listen. May as well expand my horizons.
