This is catchy as hell:
Two catchy singles, and a bunch of great songs have come out from the sessions for Take Care. It’s going to be a great album.

The best Cypher from the BET Awards:
Gotta give it to Em. He’s the best selling rapper, legacy already in place, and he still raps better and sounds hungrier than all of the guys on the come up. And he steals the show on a cypher amongst the Slaughterhouse guys and Yelawolf.
He’s gotta be Top 10 all time by now.
Hi Rihanna… Nice

Haha, yeah that was pretty funny. None of the other cyphers were as funny, not even close.
Low Volts, he’s been bumping around San Diego for awhile, guitar, kick drum with tamborines. One man band.
Pandora Radio. Problem solved.

Who says new music can’t sound old?
funny you mention new music sounding old. i recently discovered social distortion and mike ness’s solo albums. fucking amazing stuff. it’s funny i really liked the cypher on top of the page w/ eminiem, i thought joe b killed it too.
i go from that to this stuff. it’s funny how i and others can cross over but many hip hop guys cannot cross over to other shit outside of genres they’re comfortable with.
i’ve been loving hip hop since the days of the Fat Boys but i also dig metal, country, blues, punk. i’ve mentioned it before great music - fire you up inthe gym type music anyways -all resonates a chord in our soul, the chord of kick fucking ass.
anyways…thanks for the above links, here is a favorite by social d -
Drakes killing it so much this year it’s not even fair. He’s just gotten better and better. I’m a fan, and I didn’t see this coming.
Take Care, out November 15.
So we have like 1 decent hiphop station around here that I listen to when I’m driving, and as a testament to how on fire Drake is, it feels like all you hear right now is a song by him, featuring him, or something from Kanye/Jay-Z or Wayne… he’s really put himself at the top of the mainstream game right now(and fuck you if you just don’t like it cause it gets play on airwaves and in clubs).

THIS
Drake is the go to guy for sung hooks these days, kind of like 50 was a few years back. And he good for ripping a guest verse if you need that, too.

I’m hip to Drake. I like much of his stuff even though I give him shit for being soft served. But he has skills and I can’t sleep on that.
I can’t deal with Lil Wayne. No matter how much talent he has or how everyone and there moms want me to listen to him. Everytime I think of him or hear his voice I want to kick an old lady holding a ethiopean child down a flight of stairs made of baby seal eyes.
Drake is meh. He can make bangers but he’ll never be respected as a real spitter that’s for sure.

haha yeah Wayne’s voice isn’t for everyone.
Lately he’s been kind of boring, too. The only reason She Will is good is the beat and Drake’s hook.
