New Muscle Pump Coaching

I have noticed this too. For me, the biggest difference has been in the will to train and keep growing. I haven’t seen gains like I am experiencing (or at least perceive to be experiencing) since I was a teenager (I probably have been working off poor self-programming and nutrition too long).

This is simply an incredible opportunity. You all are absolutely putting the customer first but also showing huge faith in your product, which is absolutely well-deserved based on the very consistent feedback (my own experience is certainly a testament).
Thanks all around!

I wholeheartedly agree with all of this.

The experience has been awesome. @Tim_Patterson has been incredibly generous, the Surge is great, the workout program is challenging and novel, and the members I’ve interacted with are strong, yoked, and supportive.

Looking forward to Phases 3 and 4.

Workout 12 & Phase 2.

Great results so far
Arm measurement today with bicep only pump 19.75” (definitely would have hit 20” with a triceps pump)

Chest cold measurement 53”

Waist still 43”

Here are my before and after comparison photos from Workout 1 to Workout 13(log entry coming soon)! Weight in the before photos was 204.5, weight in the after photos is 213. I’ve noticed some nice gains in my arms, chest, and shoulders in particular. In addition, my abs are a little more defined despite not doing any dedicated ab work.

Chest and back definitely looking bigger man! Nice work.

9 lbs is nothing to laugh at in a month (doesn’t look like much went to fat).

Thank you sir! 20 inch pipes is nothing to sneeze at either! That’s insane!

It’s a little less impressive when you weigh 300 lbs I think. But it’s been a goal of mine for a while.

Monday - Heavy incline dumbbells 90’s for 5 x 5 paused reps then 70 x 15 with pauses. Easy.

Pulldown with stretch … Easy.

Farmer Carry: 85 then 90 for over one minute each. Full laps around entire gym perimeter.

Today - 30 straight minutes MMA sparring. Felt like a machine.

Surge is legit. Lifelong user now.

Workouts 8-11 in the books. Gaining size all over. My calves and forearms are responding after years of neglect. I think I am going a little heavy then I should and am coming close to failure before finishing prescriped reps. I am going to tone it back a bit.
Surge is doing its job, I feel more energetic during my workouts and the pump lasts longer.
I mixed two scoops of Lemon with one scoop of Berry because I was to lazy to open the new pouch and wanted to finish of the lemon. To my surprise it tasted great.

I wouldn’t change anything if I were you since you’re growing and making progress. I’m a big believer in milking something that’s working until it doesn’t anymore.

On Sunday the 10th I was hospitalized with an infection in my left calf and a blood clot in the calf area. I was discharged on Thursday. I had completed the 3rd week of the Surge Challenge. I went off Surge supplement that Sunday.

I am fairly weak from the stay, but only lost about 3 lbs. I plan to do a “run through” of different exercises on Saturday with light weight to see how my strength feels.

My current thought is that I would restart where I left off on Monday. I was thinking of starting Surge the same date.

Can @Ellington_Darden @Tim_Patterson comment with recommendations for a restart, if that even makes sense?

Sorry about your injury. I believe you should do your restart on Monday.

I will keep with the plan as long as they keeping posting workouts. With the new added tweaks in protocol the speed of the workouts and the variety of doing different body parts, I think will keep me going though all the phases.
