Question for you all here though, what are you guys using in the way of peri-workout nutrition? I hear at least one person posted they didn’t use any Anaconda protocol, while others have posted Anaconda/MAG-10. Curious as to what the layout is for you folks—IE: Andaconda protocol 1, 2, Anaconda/MAG-10 without carbs, something else entirely.

I’m pretty basic, pre workout pop tart & protein shake, post protein shake with olive oil + creatine. Are you considering Anaconda? [/quote]

nah not really. I have been for a while but not any more than usual. I was just curious as to how the people seeing great results were structuring their workout nutrition to recover from the sessions. I know for sure though I’d never be able to make it on just a pop tart and a shake.

What about two pop tarts and a shake?

Just wanted to chime in.

I’ve consistently been getting stronger in all the big lifts, and especially the ones I have specialised in. Yesterday I was dominating reps on bench press with a weight of 35lbs more than 3 weeks ago where I was struggling with the lower weight.

Furthermore, there’s 2 things with e.g. the bench press:
I feel the added sled-work enables me to better activate the pecs during the press -
and not grinding the weight, but focusing on dominating it and accelerating it makes me feel it in the pecs too. Note that the bench never did much for my pecs (tri and delts for me)

I just love (and hate) my sled work. Plus, it’s the most fun training I have ever had.

Body composition has never been better. I too have been cutting for a longer period, and still building a little muscle. Coming into a caloric surplus, i’m looking forward to how far this year is going to take me.

Oh, and wanted to add that I started to bench with shrugged shoulders, and I have not had shoulder issues since + I bench more.
