New MAG-10 Support Group

Hi, I am on day 5 of my first Mag ten cycle . I am using 9ml per day along with 2 a day workouts wth 10-12 sets per workout. I started Sat morning at 172 lbs. I am now at 181 pounds. The thing is , I was 180 lbs by day 3. Also my skinfold measurements are up. I was going to try and hit the 400 grams protein, 500 lbs carb mark , but obvioulsy this would be too high since i am putting on fat the way it is. I am currently at aout 385-400 grams of potein a day and 400-425 grams of carbohydrates , fat intake is about 40-45 grams from mostly the protein pwders and grains. So I have gained weiht like advertsied with the Mag Ten but…not quality weight as it would seem. I’m not knocking Biotest in any way at all, just wondering where to go from here? Should i drop some carb calories and increase fats (perhaps through Mct’s …as one knowledgable member has suggested to me already) should i double the doseage? I bought three bottles so i would ahve liked to have cycled through 12 weeks using two on/two off. At the rate I’m going now…I may need a bottle for dieting. So what are your suggetions guys…any on else go trough similar exeriences?..Bill?(Oh FYI, I’m 19, been training for about 4 years) Thanks alot guys…Mike

I was going to try Cy’s diet with Mag10 and Surge, but I was wondering what everyone thought would be a better protocol. I’ve got three bottles of Mag10 and easily enough Surge for a month. I plan on doing the diet for a month. Should I take two capfuls (1 and a third servings) of Mag10 every day for a month along with a serving of Surge after each workout or should use Surge after every workout and wait till the second week of the diet to start Mag10 and do three capfuls (two servings)? Another thought would be to take only one serving of Mag10 a day and stretch it out slightly after the diet. I’ve heard many threads say that one serving would be enough on a fat loss diet, but I don’t want to hear someone say that it didn’t work because I didn’t take enough. What do you guys think?

Is there any problem taking this with food or should Mag-10 be taken alone?

This question has been covered a thousand times. If you had searched for and read the original “Mag-10 Support Group” thread in the archive as Chris recommended in the intro to this thread, you would know that it doesn’t matter when you take it. Don’t worry about taking it on an empty stomach, because your stomach should never be empty while on Mag-10.

Anybody have any help for my question posted above…Bill…others?..Thanks, Mike

I just wanted to bump this yet again…before it falls off the first page…Mike

Mike, I wouldn’t worry about it and would
keep on with what you’re doing, unless you are actually consuming much more calories than you think.

Your post was talking about day 5… of
course, you’re somewhat past that now but
this is what I got to see.

Now, at 1000 extra calories per day, in
5 days there’s no way you could have put
more than about 1 lb of fat. Two pounds
would be impossible.

So if your skinfold readings are substantially
higher, either they are in error, or you are
consuming much more calories than you’re thinking.

Thanks for the reply Bill. I checked three times with the calipers an thats what it said. Also i use a food scale and measuring spoons/cups for my diet…so i really have a hard time seeing where i’m off in my calculations. I do see where you are coming from though. As for an update it is day 9 now and I am still 181 so thats no gains in 6 days My waist is also up to a 34 a gainof little over an inch. i jus wish i knew what the hell i was doing wrong. Thanks again for your time Bill, Mike

Hey guys…

I’m up at 13% bodyfat right now, and I’m getting ready for spring break. I am considering beginning Meltdown training now to cut down bodyfat percentage, then using MAG-10 to beef up.
I am worried, however, that the low carb (<100g day) recommendation by Mr. Alessi would prepare my body to BALLOON when I upped the carb intake on the MAG-10 cycle. A big drippin fat balloon, that is. I’m going for minimal fat gain here… hopefully fat loss.
Should I cut the carbs down a bit during the MAG-10 cycle, or maybe up them during Meltdown?
If it will help, I weigh 170 at 13% bodyfat.
Ben

Just posting my results… On my first cycle of Mag 10, I went for 3 weeks using the Growth Surge workouts, and I put on 15 lbs of muslce, while maintaining the same level of bodyfat… Then I took the 2 weeks off, and then did another 2 week Mag-10 cycle, but this time I was dieting, doing a german body comp type workout. I dropped 6 lbs of fat and gained 2 lbs of muslce in that 2 week cycle.

Great stuff Biotest…

Jeff

Just trying to keep this thread refreshed.

Ben, I don’t at all think that the Meltdown
diet would in any way prep you for more
fat gain while on MAG-10 and a 400/500
protein/carb lowfat diet while on the MAG-10.
You should be perfectly fine.

Just wondering if anyone is using the 1/2 dose, twice a day protocol. I know Bill Roberts said results could be ‘possibly better, certainly not worse’, but I’m just wondering if anyone has had any experience using both schemes. I just started my third cycle, and decided to give twice a day a try for a change.

Bill, have you determined yet if its better to use Mag-10 the recommended 2x per day or if its better to only take have the amount. thanks.

I’m a retailer in NC. I’ve sold 6 bottles of Mag-10 so far. The results with the customers were ok, although they complained of the expense (which all customers will do, even if something is free). I would like to carry more biotest stuff, but since they have gone to a direct ship deal, it is more difficult. My recommendation would be for them to start selling to Europa again so retailers like me can pick their products up one at a time to see how they do. It’s tough to commit to a large amount when your a new business. I try not to be biased when selling PH/PS. I just give the facts and let the consumer decide. Thanks guys

I gained a total of six “keepable” pounds on Mag-10 with no appreciable gain in BF. About 80% of what I would expect to gain on a high dose Tes/Tren cycle(2.1g over two weeks).

Ndweasel, while not having data anywhere
near “publication quality” on MAG-10 gains,
what I’m gathering is that most are completely satisfied with one dose per day. Some are not
and prefer 2 doses. If cost is not an issue,
1.5 doses is probably a good guess as to where
it starts to get to being overkill past that
for most people. If cost is an issue, as it usually is, there’s no need for 1.5 doses – one dose does great for most people.

ok i dont want to sound dumb but if I am around 240… i should be around the 400 mark for protein… 500 for carbs and about 75 grams of fat… or should I be around 450 p … 600 c… and 90 f when on mag-10 …

What can u expect to gain/lose when using mag-10 on a maintenance diet? Anyone did this w/o cardio? Please tell bout results…
