CAN YOU USE THE NEW MAG-10 FORMULA FOR A PULSE FAST? ON A TRAINING DAY I PLANNED IT OUT AS SO SINCE I DO NOT HAVE POWERDRIVE.
9 TOTAL PULSES OF MAG-10
1 SERVING OF ANACONDA DURING TRAINING
BOTTLE PREP #1
MAG-10 8 SCOOPS (4 SERVINGS TOTAL)
WATER 2000ML
PULSE DOSE 400ML
PULSE/BOTTLE 5
BOTTLE PREP #2
MAG-10 6 SCOOPS
WATER 1600ML
PULSE DOSE 400ML
DOSE/BOTTLE 4
IT EQUATES TO ONLY 1152 CALORIES, 122 GRAMS/CARBS, 160 GRAMS/PROTEIN
DOES NOT SEEM SAFE TO ME. I NEVER DID A PULSE FAST WITH THE OLD FORMULA SO I DON’T KNOW THE EXACT DIFFERENCES.
ALSO WOULD IT BE OK TO INCLUDE SUPERFOOD WITH MIXED WITH JUST WATER?
JUST LOOKING FOR SOME FEEDBACK. WANTED TO GIVE IT A TRY TOMORROW. THANKS
This is a good question, id really like to know the answer myself
if anyones got it
Doesn’t seem “safe” ? What does that mean?
Up until recently I was Pulse Fasting once/Twice a week. With the new formula I simply combined 2 “old pulses” into one, so instead of 8-10 pulses a day, I just use 2 scoops at a time and do it every 3 hours, which comes out to 5 pulses a day.
Superfood should be fine to use in one of the pulses
Not safe? Why, because of the decreased calories?
The point of the pulse fast is to drastically drop calories(for one day) while still feeding your muscles the aminos and nutrients necessary to prevent muscle loss. As long as you aren’t hypoglycemic, I don’t see what would be unsafe about doing it periodically.
I just did one yesterday, while driving all day. 5 servings, with 2 servings of Power Drive mixed into one of the bottles(1L Nalgene = 2 MAG-10 servings), 1 serving every 3 hours. Also drank one Brain Candy, because I was starting to zone out even though I had only been driving for a few hours at that point.
Worked just fine for me. Wasn’t able to weigh myself before starting it, but I got up at 202 this morning. Last time I weighed was 2.5 weeks ago, before heading to NV, at 205. I was eating a little more than normal while there, and drank a few more Guinness than usual also(it was on tap, what was I supposed to do;).

Hypoglycemic here. Noticed you mentioned the condition and although I don’t do Pulse Feasts (I’m pregnant), I do replace some of my snacks and meals with MAG-10. Before MAG-10, my glucose blood work came back at 56 mg/dl and the last test I had done, I consumed MAG-10 a couple of hours before blood work and it came back at 97 mg/dl - completely normal.
Still experimenting with this but that was promising. Anyhow, I can’t speak for everyone but I have seen tangible results that MAG-10 pulses have had a positive impact on my blood sugar.
The Brain Candy (with caffeine), I would definitely see as a good thing, in addition to the pulsing.
