Forward progress man, you still moved good weight. Not everyday is going to be a PR.

Glad Luke is OK. Seizures are scary to watch because you simply don’t know what’s happening.

Fantastic work as always. Like Fischer said, not every day is going to be your best but it’s all part of moving forward.

Lowered all my lifting maxes. Only hit the prescribed reps. Gonna focus on hitting farmers carries and stone lifting real heavy.

I’m always impressed by the consistent variety in your training. Its probably a big reason why you are so damn strong.

Thanks Jack. I wish I could say the variety was planned but its just training ADD. I need to stick to a program for a few months. Its been awhile since I hit a PR.

I’m betting the variety is making you stronger over all.

stone lifts and carries

Easy enough to type but kicked my ass.

Anyone who has done that type of work knows that it’s much harder than it sounds.

Steve, is carrying the heavy items, specifically in the front, having any affect on your abs? When I lift and carry items in front of me I can get a pretty good stomach workout.

James,lifting/carrying stones may be my favorite workout. Sun on my face and wind across my bald head. Can’t get that lifting in the basement.

Harry,the abs/obliques really get a workout. Now I need to throw in some cardio and calorie reduction so I can see them.

Or just get heavier stones and keep getting massive.

Didn’t lift at all this weekend. Drank too much. Ate too much. Stayed up too late. Watched all ‘The Game of Thrones’ series.

Movin some nice weight,like the chins and push ups too. I have some natural stones I used in My WO irregular don’t know the weight but fun.

Bruce,cool you’re carrying stones. Its a different kind of workout. I hope to get some stone lifting in this Saturday.

Harry,batwings are the last few inches of a row done with dbs. Very short range of motion. Dan John made them popular. Works the middle back most lifters miss when they cheat doing rows.

DDay,I did have a good weekend. Almost to good. I can’t drink and stay up to 2:30am any more. Makes me want to eat a lot and not workout the rest of the weekend.
