Everything felt great today. Shoulders were no problem. The 365 flew up. Now not to do anything stupid and injure myself between now and December 2.

Just reading all the 2 board sets was tiring.

No kidding. I’d had enough by the last set. I may have been a little more tired because I turned 48 yesterday. Moving a bit more slowly.

I tried a 15’’ box tonight instead of a 17’’ and what a difference. 15’’ felt real low and my quads were shaking by the end.

385 went up fairly quickly. I’m squatting on Wednesday and if I’m feeling as tired as I did today I’m taking a deload a week early.

I forgot the squat bar is 10 lbs heavier until I got to 425. I’ve never felt squats in my glutes and hips like I do on this box.

Deloading this week. The local strongman/powerlifting gym closed down recently. No more yoke or big dbs until I buy them now.

So I was looking on Craig’s list (in the sporting section) and came across lifting chains. I think I got a good deal for a set of 25 lbs and a set of 15 lbs with the set up and clips for $100.

Chains FTW !!! Hey have you thought about contacting the strongman gym that went out of business and seeing if you can scoop up some stuff? Might be worth a try.
