Glad it’s not just me, thought my phone messed up, yup totally unnecessary, if seemingly unnecessary change is insisted on at least announce it.
Haven’t even tried it on my phone yet. Not excited.

OMG, what is this madness? No! If I wanted big, blocky pictures (of nothing!) I wouldn’t be on a site that is for reading and writing about fitness, I would go to…I don’t even know where! Because I’m a reader! So I don’t go to the picture-book equivalent sites.

Trying to modernize T-Nation in any way just goes against it’s appeal IMO. The userbase here tend to be older than the average bodybuilding forum (which I like), but upsetting them by changing what they know and adding some bells and whistles could lose some of that sometimes decade long (or more) loyalty.
I understand it’s a business at the end of the day and is trying to go with the market. The reason I use it is because it’s simple and because it’s a little niche. I wish the owners all the luck with whatever direction they go though.

Yeah mobile sucks even more. I don’t get this. What is the reasoning for someone to think this is better. WTF!!!
Don’t. It’s terrible.
Seeing all the subjects in a bullet-point format = Great, I can spend my time responding and reading!
Huge pictures blocks that have no time stamp or order = Rage-scroll and decide to look at something else entirely.
If I want to look at “fitness-pintrest,” pornhub does a better job.

I can’t see how making the forum more difficult to navigate make any good business sense. What next? Ads all over the place!!
Love how they just pull rando pics from the threads and put them on the “thumbnail”. Some of the pics are not super flattering and I’ll bet the OP’s are not gonna be thrilled. Pretty sure this was a big complaint last time they did these shenanigans

We’re currently working on making some changes and improvements to another aspect of site, and it looks like this is a temporary side effect of that.
It’s still a work in progress, so thanks for your patience. Our goal isn’t to ruin your experience on the forums or make you as mad as possible. Promise.

I’ve given it a while, but still don’t love the paragraph extract from the first post under title, I use a phone to browse and it just makes scrolling 10x more swiping. Is the plan to keep it like this or is the current view fall under this?
I don’t either. If you click the paragraph instead of the thread title it take you to the first post even if you already follow the thread.
This just adds an necessary layer of babble.
