ME Bench training:
Bench: bar5,1355,1353,2251,2651,2951,3151,3450(vid),325*1(vid) Need to continue to work on form and triceps strengh. My spotter said i was hitting my chest high, so it was more of a neck press. So form and triceps it is.
Jm press:7510,9510,12510,14510,175*8(some reps were more a close grip press, was kinda tough to keep my form at times here)
Barbell curls:8510,1258,145*3 These were done with a little body english.
Done, so my lower back felt pretty beat up, so i didn’t do the ME squats, but i will have those on tuesday, so a couple of days to restore my lower back and i will do ME band resisted squats either regular or box.
Here goes the start of the westside format starting monday.

Haha yeah, i hit the stalling point and let out a loud graahhhh. I was pissed that it didn’t go up. Good thing i didn’t punch the weights too hard, that would’ve sucked. I’ve done that before and bruised my hand pretty bad and could hardly do anything with that hand for a week.

Your feet seem like they’re looking for a home, plant those bastards down, and try pushing your heels down. Dave Tate talks about it, saying even though your heels wont touch the ground when they’re tucked under you, the act of trying to push them down locks you in better and lets you complete the leg drive.

Ink, you got it man. I am doing dynamic bench in a bit and i will have videos with changes to my foot placement. Either i am going to tuck them further under me like dixies or i will try to get my heel planted firmly on the ground.

I don’t remember if you compete in PL or are going to, but I know foot placement (heel flat or not) differs among feds. The 100% raw fed I’m doing the meet in says feet flat. I don’t know if it’d make a difference in poundages being able to tuck them back fully, I’m betting so, but whatever…just get me on that platform so I can pop my cherry.

DE Bench training:
Speed bench with red mini bands:bar5,1353*FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, my left pec got tweaked somewhere in this set and it immediately became pissed at me and i at it in return. I am getting so effing frustrated. This happens just about everytime i get going and make a little progress.
Feels like i pulled it really bad and i am very angry right now. workout log continued.
So i really couldn’t do any horizontal shoulder adduction, so i went to shoulders which was next.
Seated db press:5010,7010,90*10 I could definitely feel the pull or strain on my pec throughout. It didn’t really bother me too much until the heaviest set. So a little conversation i had with another gym member. He just sat on the bench that i was using, i waited a few seconds to see if he would start his set right away because i was just about to start my last set, he sat there with the dbs resting on his thighs:
me:Let’s go, get to work.
Him:incredulous look on his face WTF?
Me: Don’t just sit there do something!
Him:I just got here, i was only sitting here for like 2 secs
Me:I don’t care get going, i was working here!
Him:Gave me another WTF look, and just sat there.
Me: i stared at him angrily and impatiently until he got started then i backed off.
After i destroyed the 90s, he kinda apoligized and we went about our separate ways.
Let me say that this is very rare for me to confront someone being a pussy, i usually don’t mind if they work in with me as long as they DO WORK!
Meadows t-bar rows:4510,9010,13510,9010 I kinda like these, might start working these in more often. Great variation to the db rows.
Cable pushdowns:7515,11510,16010,20510 It was really uncomfortable on the heavier sets on these.
Done, man words cannot express just how pissed i am right now. I am going to heat, massage, and ice the pec and hopefully it will feel better tomorrow. I will see how i feel tomorrow whether i can/or what i can do for ME squats.
Once again it’s time to get back up…

Trav thanks for stoppin by dude, meh i was wallowing in my postworkout energy rage. After having some time to reflect and calm down, as well as put some heat on it and massage it and etc, it feels better right now.
Yeah it was an interesting feeling confronting someone like that. Not something i want to happen very often though.
Let me know if you want to cancel our ME bench. Hopefully its feeling better, but if not it would suck to pull it even worse by going heavy.

I will see how it feels on wednsday and if it feels decent it’s a go, no go if not, but i will let you know either way.
If it’s a go, i was thinking maybe floor presses or maybe using the sling shot you have if you’re up to it.
