BUT YEAH, now I have a story time for you…
I try to avoid this one trainer dude because he is so loud and annoying and I pretty much have it memorized when and where he will have his clients on most days.
So I go in really looking forward to a bench day without his loud bullshit going on around me, AND GUESS WHAT?!
He changed things up on me!! Benched with a client on a monday when he typically uses the prowler at that time?!

Sorry spock but that is kinda funny. I suppose looking at my story from another perspective, it can be rather humorous as well. Trainers can be interesting like that. Do you have an ipod or mp3 player? Those things are awesome.
Leg training: Dang squat racks were taken today so i just did a bunch of leg accessories. I think i’ll just do a modicum of different things on friday, including some light squats.
Leg press:20010,40010,60010,80010,90010,40020
Leg extensions:8510,13010,17010,22010
Lying leg curls:8010,10010,12010,16010,80*20
Tri set of standing leg curls:4010,5010,50*10
and adductors and abductors:10020,14520,145*20(same weight and reps for each exercise)
Prowler: 3 25yard trips with 450lbs. low handle down and high handle back for one trip.
Done, kinda dissapointed i didn’t get to squat. But i’ll probably do some different things and minimize upper body stuff because i want to try and do bench on sunday. I more than likely will do some form work for speed with bench. Working on possibly getting someone to train with me on sunday for a bench spot.

ALL DAY?!?[/quote]
Yes, they were being used most of the time i was there. Can’t wait to move squats back to sunday.

Tell them bitches to move. If that fails, split the earth with your squat legs and let them fall into the skinny fat abyss.

There were two cuties doing squats and stiff leg deads in the rack nearest the leg press. They weren’t necessarily doing too much weight but they were doing them properly and looked like they did them properly as well. By that i mean with their tight yoga type pants i could tell they weren’t your typical do nothing in the squat rack types. So i was a little frustrated but definitely okay with that. I like to see the ladies training hard and doing some real stuff rather than attempting to become a hamster. Besides i’m tapering back on leg work overall through the meet anyways.
You know it’s kinda funny you mention splitting the earth and etc. When i was younger i was a roly poly fella before 5th grade or so, still am i guess. On the bus ride to school i would imagine that my footsteps caused earthquakes that caused everyone else to fall over leaving me to win the race. I was pretty slow then compared to now.

@ lula, yeah i was not too perturbed over it this time. Buuut, if i really needed to squat i would’ve been angry like Hulk. See picture.
@ patch yeah i was a rolly polly kid growing up. I loved to eat, watch tv and play video games. Haha, here’s another funny story for ya. I actually started being more active playing basketball around the time Jordan was just getting started on his second run of championships. So i was playing and jammed my finger, and strangely that made me want to play even more. Consequently i played more and jammed my fingers more as well. So it was the pain that kinda spurred me to be more active.
Deads:1355(against red bands),1355(same),1352(against average bands),2252(against red bands)2252(against average bands)2252(same),225*2(same) last two sets are on the video, i felt pretty good and tight but hips did rise too fast)
skip to approx 35 secs and 1:23 or so.
Done, i will do some accessory stuff tomorrow. I want to try some light bench and deads for a high number of reps and see how that goes.
And kayak rows:did a set at 4 for each superset, just went until it burned.
Prowler:200 yards total over 8 runs with 230lbs
lots of foam rolling at beginning and end of workout to loosen up my back and hips. R side of pecs and upper back is really tight.
done, felt pretty decent overall. I am glad i switched bench because all the benches were taken again so i would’ve had trouble getting that in today. I think i’m going to try squats with weights hanging from the bar after watching dixie and ink. Looks like fun.

Your funny story sound a bit more hurty than funny, We are a weird bunch 'round here.
@patch, when i was in grade school and highschool and etc, i had alot of pain filled stories. Some good ones like that one and some not so good ones. I’ve always been a little different than my peers.
Thanks spock, my meet is on 3/31. It is a push/pull meet.
