Neurotype 2A Program and Consistency

CT,

  1. Can your Type 2A program at Thibarmy be adapted to a reasonably equipped home gym lifter? E.g. squat rack, adjustable bench, barbell, Swiss bar, rings, and a good range of dumbbells and bands.

  2. Do you have suggestions/strategies for balancing a 2A’s need for variety with making actual progress while avoiding program hopping?

I am predominantly 2A followed closely by 2B. My goal is primarily health and aesthetics at age 40. I have tremendous difficulty sticking to a plan amd it has killed my progress for years. I often write my own plans because I enjoy it, but then will change them over and over. Or even if I buy one I have to modify it based on my home equipment, chronic lower back issues, time and recovery. Before I know it, I’m just rewriting it and the cycle continues. Awful waste of time and energy. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks very much.

Most likely. I’m not gonna lie, I wrote that program over a year ago so I don’t remember the exact content. But I tend not to use too many machine exercises in those programs to make sure that more people can use them. Just post any substitutions questions in my forum.

Well, the 2A program offers that in that the type of training alternates with every phase.

But besides that, it is really more about you staying motivated by a program and there is no real trick to it.

I am in the last week of the 2A Programm and training at home , it’s no problem with this programm and hometraining
