I would have been just fine with reading the first paragraph, but thanks lol

I never had it and I consider myself a stim junkie. The only noticeable difference it’s that it takes way longer for you to reach orgasm, which to me is a total plus.
Edited. Lol.

<3 caffeine
it’s good to restrict it after a certain time of the day as well as go through periods of low/no caffeine. I don’t think caffeine is the devil, but it does mess with cortisol levels and sleep if you’re going through a lot
Me too. Caffeine before midday - 600mg before training. none on off days. great stuff. I bet most people could replace their expensive pre-workout stims with cheap caffeine tabs and still get the same results

Indeed. Some caffeine tabs and a good BCAA/creatine mix is what most pre-workouts are anyways. You can save about $20 buying it separately.
^ I need to make a preworkout product. Those companies must have such high profit margins for each tub they sell.
Now that finals are over I’m weaning myself from 6-8 cups of coffee a day down to 1 in the morning and 1 preworkout. Heavy stimulant use really dries out the sinuses.
your forearms are looking ridiculous btw caveman

I mix BCAA’s, creatine and Crystal Lite together for my intra-workout drink. Some simple carbs in there might help, but I haven’t bought anything yet. No caffeine for me since I workout at 6 PM unless I’m barely awake for training, or going for a leg PR (which I PRed in squat yesterday after a Rockstar, woot!)
I know how you feel with finals and caffeine. I am amazed I didn’t burn out my adrenals with all those stims.

I thought that myth had been debunked. Wouldn’t that make pre-workouts a complete nonsense?
Pre-workouts are a complete nonsense. Just a bunch of crap that gives you lots of energy, but they don’t build muscle for shit.

Sure you mean 600mg and not 60mg? If I took 600mg one day and none the other I’d have serious withdrawal symptoms like terrible headache.
Caffeine if properly cycled is a decent stim but it does negatively affect my mental performance.
Actually, for training I prefer the prewos you can buy rather than just pure caf. Even factoring in the effects of DMAA. However, nowadays I skip the stims all together.
Btw, stimdick is very real but caf is a pretty weak stim so you would not get that from it.

60mg? haha
I don’t think you should get the withdrawal headaches using caf in such a way. But everyone is different I guess.
seems abit much to take 6 caffeine pills or 2 brain candy’s preworkout
I’m one of those who do well on caffeine
I only get the withdrawal symptoms of bad headaches + a little nausea if I really cut it cold turkey. I’ve went from 6-8 cups coffee daily, down to 2 for a couple of days, then tomorrow down to zero.
Charles Poliquin recommends to take 2g Vitamin C post-workout, it accelerates the clearance of caffeine from the body. I also avoid taking coffee/caffeine past 2pm.
There could also be a number of overlooked factors that could be contributing to your lack of sleep as well. One of my recent findings was taking calcium before bed, slept like a fucking baby last night. Supposedly Calcium is good if you have trouble FALLING asleep, whereas magnesium is good if you have trouble STAYING asleep.
Chobbs: Where do you buy your supps in bulk?
Brown Disaster: I used to be a heavy coffee drinker as well I sometimes went up to 10cups a day(2 years ago), but with that, I was heaviest I’ve ever been, 235, a solid 235 (n0w, 210)

Jack3d has negative effects on the reproductive system. This includes temporary enlargement of the prostate (hard to pee), and vasoconstriction (small genitals).
…but you will burn a lot of fat… and maybe lose muscle too.
Other than the negative side effects, I very much enjoyed Jack3d.
However, now I avoid anything containing 1,3 dimethylalamine / DMAA for the above reasons.
Oh yea… also sleeping is difficult even when I took Jack3d at 6pm or earlier.
Caffeine is okay for me. Coffee is good enough as a pre-workout… Spike drink is pretty awesome when I need a good hit. (and the gym sells it).
